Positive & Negative Thoughts

 

A little something from my collection of famous and not so famous peoples quotes, although many have no names or tittles of who wrote them; it matters not but thank them any way as all have great meanings and thoughts for us all to learn from and use in our daily lives, enjoy!

 If you repeat something over and over to yourself, your subconscious mind will eventually begin to accept it as fact. When something has been accepted as truth by your subconscious mind, it will work overtime to transform the idea into physical reality. You can take advantage of this by programming your mind to think positive thoughts. Use self-motivators or affirmations to persuade your subconscious that you are capable of doing anything you wish. Repeat the self-motivator several times a day until it becomes an automatic reaction to recall a positive phrase whenever you begin to doubt yourself. Replace “I can’t” with “I will!”

  Positive & Negative thoughts:

Your thoughts are both the words you hear in your head and the words you speak out loud. When you say to somebody, “What a beautiful day” you had the thought first and then spoke the words.  Your thoughts also become your actions.

When you get out of bed in the morning, you had the thought of getting out of bed before you took action.  You can’t take any action without thinking the thought first.  It’s your thoughts that determine whether your words and actions will be positive or negative.  But how do you know your thoughts are positive or negative?  Your thoughts are positive when you think of what you want and love!  And negative thoughts are what you don’t want and don’t love.  It is that simple and that easy.  There is no other way to take this but it is true!!  

What ever you want in your life, you want it because you love it.  Now take a moment and think about it.  You do not want things you do not love, or do you?  Every person only want’s what they love; no body want what they done love. 

When you think or talk about things you want and love, like “I love those shoes” they are just what I want, your thoughts are positive and they will come back to you as the things you love-beautiful shoes!!  hen you think and talk about the things you do not want or love, like “look at the price of those shoes, that is high way robbery”  Your thoughts are now negative and negative thoughts will come back to you that you do not love them as they are too expensive!! 

Most people think and talk about the things they do not love more than they think and talk about what they love, why?  Because they give out more negative thoughts than love thus depriving themselves of all the good things in life!  it is that simple.  

It is impossible to have a great life without love.  Because People who have great  lives think and talk about what they love more than what they do not love!  People who are struggling think and talk about what they do not love more than what they do love, even a pair of shoes!

How often do I hear and read these phrases? A lot.  More often than not, they’re used out of naiveté rather than with any intent to make the up line feel superior or the down line feel inferior.  But we’ve got to be constantly aware of what comes out of our mouths.

We’re offering people the chance to break free of the 40-hour (and more!) work week chains of working for someone else, yet using language like this can very quickly make our team members feel like they’ve swapped, or are in the process of swapping, one boss for another.

On that note, we cannot force any of our team members to work harder either – they’re a ‘volunteer army’ and are free to do as little or as much as they want, to fit around their own unique lifestyle, and in line with what THEY want from their business.

Now, don’t get me wrong, if someone’s activity is not congruent with the goals they have set themselves, then we need to bring this to their attention and some course-correcting needs doing, but ultimately we have to firstly be GRATEFUL that they’re part of our team, and secondly RESPECT the level they want to work at.

You Can Now Make Objections and Rejection a Thing of the Past!

We’ve seen why conventional sales techniques of telling your story, talking about your solutions or presenting to soon, handling objections and "closing" can cause objections and rejection.

The key to success is keeping company whith people who uplift youIn contrast, the Natural Selling Approach is all about coming from an inner place of stillness, calm and understanding, using your Personal Agenda to guide you and not manipulate you using dialogue. You do this by focusing on your Purpose of merely discovering whether there is a problem that you might have an answer for.

In doing so you allow the other person to motivate themselves to look at your solution if it’s appropriate, by listening to them and letting them listen to themselves as they internally think about and process what they are saying.

The four principles of The Natural Selling Approach are:

1. The Purpose of a Business is Helping Other People Solve Their Problems.

2. Asking the Right Types of Questions at the Right Time

3. Listening to What is Being Meant, Not Just What Is Being Said

4. Feeding Back What You Think You Heard.

The Natural Selling Approach is one of a Problem Solving Exercise not a Persuasion Exercise. You use the Magic and Power of Dialogue to help people discover for themselves whether they have any problems you can help them solve.

By knowing what types of questions to ask, how to listen and how to feedback you remove your anxiety by taking the focus off you and putting it where it matters – on other people.

Point to Remember: If there isn’t a problem to be solved, will you have lost a sale? Of course not! There was never a sale to be made in the first place.

If there isn’t a sale to be made you can either change the conversation or graciously bow out so you can quickly move on to other opportunities without feeling rejected.

If there is a problem to be solved however, you’ll uncover it and know precisely how to customize your solution in a way that makes perfect sense to people.

What’s more, you’ll completely eliminate your fear and anxiety when talking with people about your products and business. Why?

It’s because you now have a different initial focus. You are no longer using or thinking about having to use conventional selling techniques, tricks or mind games.

The big question is, are you really "selling" (in the conventional sense) when using The 4 Principles of The Natural Selling Approach? No you’re not! All you’re doing is helping people discover for themselves whether they want to replace what they have with what they want. Most importantly you’re also discovering their level of desire to do so.

You don’t have to use techniques when you know how to help people inspire and decide for themselves to change!

Another point. Have you ever thought of yourself as a feature of your products, Income Opportunity or company? Of course you are!

If people buy you because you appear to understand them and what they are about, what do you think that does to the value of you and everything you represent? Including your solutions? It soars!

Asking the right types of questions at the right time, and listening with the intent to hear, understand, and solve other people’s problems creates tremendous value in you and what you represent.

When you do this, people can’t help but be attracted to you and want to listen how you might be able to help them with your solutions! They can’t help it because everyone (including you) is attracted to people who really understand them. What’s more, they will be much more likely to do business with you!

The Next Step

Your mental attitude is the most dependable key to your personality.
Your view of yourself will greatly influence how others perceive you. If you are a confident, cheerful, positive person, your co-workers, friends, and family will be attracted to your personality. If you are unhappy, negative, and always complaining about your situation, others will be repelled. Even when at times you don’t feel very happy, by forcing yourself to behave in a positive fashion, you will find that you soon feel genuinely upbeat, because your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between an artificial emotion and the real thing. When you behave positively, you will positively influence everyone around you — including yourself. – Napoleon Hill

Well, you can do this… ALL of it. And, you can do in your own style and with your own personality… not someone else’s, but your own!

Successful Networker The problem with thinking too big…

“The defining point of who we are is the moment we decide how to view our experience.” – Claire McGee

"Dream big. Reach for the stars. The only limit is in your mind." How often do you hear these words? We’re filled with the power of positive mantras in motivational texts, books, and seminars. The problem with expansive thinking, however, is that too big can be just as much of a problem.  The problem of thinking too big, however, is that you’ll forget to get started. Or you’ll become afraid of getting started.

The more you dream, the bigger it becomes, the harder it can be to begin. And sometimes, dreaming can get in the way of taking action. Over time, the practice of not starting becomes the best habit you have—another day to practice not starting, not doing anything.

Action is difficult. Deciding is painful. Manifestation, by definition, requires limitation. In order to make something real, you need to carve out and throw out all of the possible ways that something will not be. To make requires substance and grounding. It requires physicality and reality. It inherently means you limit the dream.

As you sketch your dreams for your life and career, you can have multiple jobs. You can own multiple businesses. Make multiple projects. But dwelling in dream land can hinder action.

clip_image003The longer you hold onto an idea, the more the idea becomes a part of your identity, and the more wrapped up you become in making sure that idea is what will become the reality. The more goal-oriented and dream-oriented, the harder it gets to start. And if you hold on for too long, that idea of perfect execution becomes so big and monstrous, that if you take action—especially if you take action and fail—you’ll have killed or damaged part of your identity, part of what you’re yearning and hoping for. By chasing the dream with action, you put yourself in a scary place: a place where you might not get what you want.

Making dreams become reality is a scary business, Ignorance can be a blessing. You sidestep the part where you get distracted by all of your fears of failure because you haven’t been able to imagine them yet.

Sometimes hope and patience can turn a dream into an enormous mental glorification, resulting in the worst sin of all:

Not starting. Specifically, not starting because of fear of failure. Because if you fail, you’re not what you thought you would be. Our minds get in the way sometimes.

Get started. Big-picture thinking has its place. So does action. Sometimes you have to get out of your head, into the world, into the making, and start testing. Start building. Make a small thing, make a bunch of mistakes, shake it off, keep going. Over time, you can iterate. Test a couple ideas.

Worry less about getting there and more about being here. But if you don’t start—you won’t go anywhere.
