Six powerful promises Mark & Angela Hack

PMA Added Only..

From The Secret Daily Teachings We can never bring anything to us unless we are grateful for what we have. In fact, if somebody was completely and utterly grateful for everything, they would never have to ask for anything, because it would be given to them before they even asked.

That is the power of Gratitude.

May the joy be with you,
Rhonda Byrne

Life is not all rainbows and butterflies.  It can be tough sometimes.  And you’ve paid a heavy price to get this far, so the best option is to really make it count by moving forward from where you are.  Free yourself from the world’s negativity – from the sources of ignorance telling you what you can and cannot do – by promising to look ahead, to live ahead, and to get ahead.  In other words, start making positive promises to yourself!
Promise to fight back, to fight harder, to laugh louder and longer and slap adversity back into its seat whenever it dares to stand against you.  Promise to be a force to be reckoned with – because you are a force to be reckoned with.
Make these promises to yourself, and keep them forever.
Repeat after me: “I promise…”

1.  “I will not hold the past against myself.” – Your problems, your weaknesses, setbacks, regrets and mistakes teach you if you’re willing to learn, or they will punish you if you’re not.   So let them teach you, every day.  Take everything as a lesson learned.  If you regret some of the decisions you have made in the past, stop being so hard on yourself.  At that time, you did your best with the knowledge you had.  At that time, you did your best with the experience you had.  Your decisions were made with a younger mind.  If you were to make these decisions with the wisdom you have today, you would choose differently.  So give yourself a break.  Time and experience has a wonderful way of helping us grow and learn to make better choices today, for ourselves and those we care for.

2.  “I will own my life and never deny responsibility for it.” – Through the grapevine, you may have learned that you should blame your parents, your teachers, your mentors, the education system, the government, etc., but never to blame yourself.  Right?  It’s never, ever your fault… WRONG!  It’s always your fault to a certain extent, because if you want to change, if you want to let go and move on with your life, you’re the only person who can make it happen.  It’s YOUR move to make.  It’s YOUR responsibility.  Own it! (
from the “Adversity” chapter of our book)

3.  “I will live a life that feels right to me, not one that looks right to everyone else.” – Give yourself permission to follow the path that makes YOU happy.  And realize that some people in your life will refuse to walk beside you as you embark on this journey; they simply won’t approve no matter what you say, and that’s OK.  Sometimes when you commit yourself to creating your own happiness, it clashes with the perceptions of others.  Sometimes when you gain something great, you have to let go of something else.  And sometimes this ‘something else’ is a relationship that only wants you to do what they want you to do.

4.  “I will let go of relationships that are obviously not meant to be.” – Most people come into your life temporarily simply to teach you something.  They come and they go and they make a difference.  And it’s OK that they’re not in your life anymore.  Not all relationships last, but the lessons these relationships bring to you do.  If you learn to open your heart and mind, anyone, including the folks who eventually drive you mad, can teach you something worthwhile.  Sometimes it will feel weird when you realize you spent so much time with someone you are no longer connected to, but that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be.  You are exactly where you’re supposed to be.  We all are. (from the “Relationships” chapter of our book)

5.  “I will not let any situation permanently steal my smile.” – Even when times are tough, take a moment to pause and remember who YOU are.  Take a moment to reflect on the things that have real and lasting meaning in your life.  And then smile about how far you’ve come.  Honestly, nothing in this world is more beautiful and powerful than a smile that has struggled through the tears.  Any fool can be happy when times are easy.  It takes a strong soul with real heart to develop smiles out of situations that make us weep.  No matter how long it takes, it will get better.  Keep going.  Tough situations build strong people in the end.

6.  “I will keep stretching myself beyond my previous level of comfort.” – Just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.  Every great success requires some type of worthy struggle to get there.  Know this!  When you’re struggling, that’s when you’re growing stronger and smarter.  The more time you spend there, the faster you learn.  It’s better to spend an extremely high quality ten minutes growing, than it is to spend a mediocre hour running in place.  Every day, you want to practice at the point where you are on the edge of your ability, stretching yourself over and over again, making mistakes, stumbling, learning from those mistakes and stretching yourself even farther. (
from the “Goals and Success” chapter of our book)
And of course, if you’re struggling with any of these points, know that you are not alone. Many of us are right there with you, working hard to feel better, think more clearly, and live a life free of headaches and heartache. This is precisely why Marc and I wrote our book, “1,000 Little Things Happy Successful People Do Differently.” The book is filled with short, concise tips on how to do just that. And believe it or not, I’m currently in the process of re-visiting and re-reading some of our own material this month, just to centre my mind on these positive principles and keep myself on the right track. If you’re interested in following along with me and making positive changes in your life this Spring, or if you simply want to read (or listen) our book at your leisure.

Dealing with Discouragement

“Recognize that you have the ability to change your perception, thus your health. The mind-body connection exists in all of us.”                      – Cheryln Cluse-Howard

Dealing with discouragement is never easy.

Though we all hope for success at every turn of life, sometimes life decides to deal us a poor hand, and in those moments we are forced to maintain our

composure and find any possible way to remain optimistic about the future.

Develope your own compass and trust it                                                                      If you’re familiar with the subject of positive psychology you’ve likely been introduced to the topic of daily positive affirmations, and you might also be aware that those daily positive affirmations can be used to quiet pain and discomfort, heal the mind and comfort the soul in times of difficulty.

Though we can’t determine when or how difficulties will come our way, we can open our minds to the simple messages of truth and love otherwise known as  positive affirmations.
If you’ve never become acquainted with positive affirmations in the past, here is your chance.
Today we’re counting down the seven daily positive affirmations that can remedy any discouraging situation.

1: I Don’t Need to Pity Myself, Because I’m a Gift to the World

Perhaps the most important thing we can give each other is our attentionIt’s easy to feel self-pity when you’re lacking social support or the presence of others, but in the end you have to tell yourself that you’re too important to feel sorry for yourself.

If you feel alone and sad, remember that you are a gift to all those around you, and without you, this world would not be the same. Tell yourself those words over and over again until you can honestly admit that you truly are a gift.

2: I Know How to Make the Right Choices for Me

Life has its pains and evils its bitter disapppointmentsMaking life decisions (especially important decisions), never seems quite as easy as it should be.

Negative thinking comes naturally if you’re afraid of making an incorrect decision because of past mistakes, or because you’re so concerned about the future that you can’t imagine messing it up with one small alteration to your current path. Either way, you need to learn to trust yourself with your own life. Understand that you are the captain of your life, and as long as you can trust you, everything will ALWAYS work out. No exceptions.

3: I Inhale Calmness and Exhale Anxiety

You may not control all the events that happen to you but you can decide not to be reduced by themThings happen everyday that cause us fear or anxiety, but there is a way to handle those situations.

Each time you feel like you’re incapable of making it through a difficult moment in your life, try telling yourself that each time you breathe in you’re inhaling feelings of calmness, and each time you exhale you’re breathing out the fear and anxiety. It may take some getting used to, but in time you’ll be able to master your own fear.

4: I Choose to Replace Anger With Forgiveness and Compassion

By refusing to allow stress into your life you can keep your imune system strongAnger can cause us unnecessary stress and actually damage the health of our bodies and minds over time. Some individuals are more prone to anger than others, but everyone can make the choice to replace anger with forgiveness and compassion, including you and I.

Next time you feel your body fill with anger, tell yourself that you choose to not be angry at the mistakes of others, your own poor choices, or the natural events of life. Instead choose to forgive others for their mistakes, forgive yourself for your own mistakes, and fill your heart and soul with love and compassion.

5: I Choose Hope and Optimism Over Pessimism

Stay strong through the storms lof lifeWhen negative thoughts enter your mind, it’s easy to become a slave to those thoughts and give up hope of a better day. But even though it’s difficult, it’s still possible with a little extra effort.

The next time you sense a negative thought entering your mind, remind yourself that you’ve committed to choose hope and optimism. Tell yourself that even though today may not be as rewarding as you’d hoped it to be, you’ll garner lessons from it and be better prepared to enjoy the positive blessings of tomorrow.

6: I Choose to See Friends and Loved Ones as a Gift

love because it is the only true adventureYour loved ones are in your life for a reason. Sometimes we just need a shoulder to cry on, or we need someone to tell us that we’re on the right track. You shouldn’t base all your self-confidence on what others believe you to be, but if you can admit that your loved ones are a gift, you won’t feel so alone when problems come your way.

7: I’ve Dealt With Hardship, and Because of That I’m a Stronger Person

No one is exempt from life trials, but the people who deal with them best are the ones who garner strength from previous struggles.

Decisions prove to be hardest to make especial;y when it is a choiceIf you admit defeat whenever a difficult situation arises, you’ll be one step closer to letting negative thoughts and feelings invade your life. If on the other hand you choose to recognize your hardships and use that as a foundation for future hope and success, you’ll be better off for it.

Whenever a difficult trial comes, use this list of positive affirmations to remind yourself that you are strong Affirm Your Abundance.

Success comes to those who become success-conscious. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure-conscious.                   – Napoleon Hill

7 Positive Affirmations to Power You Through 2016

The Abundance Project

I used to roll my eyes when people would tell me that positive affirmations are the key to enjoying a happy, successful and abundant life. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the power of positive thinking because I’ve used it in my life, but looking in the mirror and speaking positive words to myself always seemed a little far-fetched to me.

When Positive Affirmations Made all the Difference

One day, not too long ago, I was feeling the weight of all the problems in my life. I’ve always been able to keep the big picture in mind when I’m passing through a trial, but for some reason I couldn’t shake my feelings of inadequacy, shame, and low self-esteem on that particular day. After exhausting all of my energy to try and get over the hump, I finally remembered the one thing that everyone told me to do when I couldn’t see a way out—speak positive affirmations.

Over the next few days and weeks I spoke a series of positive affirmations to myself, and over time I felt the weight slowly lift from my shoulders. My problems were still there and I couldn’t avoid them, but suddenly I felt more capable of handling them, and most importantly, my confidence and motivation were restored.

The beginning of the year is the perfect time to try new things that may make your life better, and for 2016, I want to challenge all of you to incorporate these 7 positive affirmations into your life. These affirmations have made a huge difference for me, and I’m certain they can do the same for you. Let’s make 2016 your most positive year yet!

#1: Everyday I’m Moving Closer to my Dreams

Though the road to achieving your dreams is a journey, keep in mind that every time you’re putting in the work and believing good things will come, you’re moving one step closer to your dreams. Always remember that.

#2: I’m in Love With who I am as a Person

The most common problem most of us face today is not loving ourselves enough. If you want to live a positive life and achieve your dreams of success and abundance, you need to be comfortable in your own shoes and have an appreciation for your own self-worth.

#3: Everyday I Wake up With a Purpose

The key to keeping your motivation high and staying on track when times get difficult is to remember what your purpose is. As long as you have a strong purpose, you will never give up or give in to negativity and discouragement.

#4: Today I Will Create Amazing Memories

Even if things are not going so well in your life, take the change to seize every opportunity to make a new memory. There is no better time than the beginning of the year to make amazing memories!

#5: I am Powerful Beyond Measure

Each one of us is blessed with a set of unique gifts and talents. It’s your job to make sure you take full advantage of them. Each day, remind yourself that you are powerful and capable of achieving all of your dreams and desires.

#6: I am Improving Every day

We all make mistakes and are subject to failure, but even if you fall from time to time, every day is a new chance to get up and begin anew. Just make it a goal to be better than you were yesterday and you’ll be on the right track.

#7: I am Blessed in so Many Ways

How often do you actually take a step back and reflect on all of your blessings? If you haven’t spent sufficient time counting your blessings in the past, make a change this year. Each day, list out 5-10 blessings that you are grateful for, and challenge yourself to keep it in your mind throughout the week. Practicing gratitude is truly the pathway to abundance.

I never see failure as failure, but as the path I will not take in the further journey towards my greatness.

Successful Networker Vision Dream Boards of your Choosing

Create your own Powerful and Effective Vision Board That Works For You

Focus on the positive in your life, for what you focus on increases.

circle spy glass viewerVision boards are a proven fact that they work for those that do them right. But what does it take to create the ultimate collage of images that evokes the positive changes you want in life? Well, for one thing it takes a positive mind and for another, it takes a certain kind of technique.

When you get it right, a vision board will help you attract anything you desire as a result of the Law of Attraction. Let’s take a look at how you can make your vision board a potent concoction of inspiring and change evoking images. All roads lead to an opportunity

Before You Begin Cutting and Pasting:

“The secret of success is to try always to improve yourself no matter where you are or what your position. Learn all you can.”

A vision board that is done right should include images that matter to you personally, not some general opinion of what people want for themselves. To get yourself in the right mind frame for the search for the perfect inspiring images, do a little visualizing first. Think about how you want to live your life, who you want to live it with, what you want to have, and all of the things you want to accomplish. Write anything that really stands out on a notepad, creating a list of what matters to you. Dream big and don’t be doubtful. Realize that everything you want can come to you with the right attitude and serious focus.

If the Idea of a dream board does not come from theDream catcher heart with the determination that it will work no matter the distractions of the “Doubter’s and “Nay Sayers” It will only be a board of pictures, to gaze at.

“It is the difficult things that really develop us, anything that requires only a small effort, utilizes very few of our faculties, and yields a scanty harvest of achievement.”

Once you have finished your list, it’s time to find out what is missing. There will be pieces of your life that you left out without realizing it. In order to have a complete vision board that really says who you want to be and what you want to have, it takes some soul searching. Think about every aspect of your life and be VERY specific.

Be Sure to Include:
  1. Career or business goals
  2. Your idea of wealth no one else’s
  3. Who you want in your life
  4. Where you want to live
  5. The things you want to do
  6. Your health and fitness goals
  7. The things you want to have most.

When you have finalized your idea of a the life of your dreams, it’s time to start looking for the images that match each desire. The images should make you go "Yes Perfect!" and "Just right!" and make you feel something strong emotionally. Don’t include images of things that don’t make you feel completely captivated as they won’t produce the right vibrational energy to attract the life of your dreams. You need images that will really power you up and create a positive energy that you feel in every cell of your body.

There are Two Main Ways to Find the Right Images:

Online – This is the best resource for finding those awe inspiring images that will kick your Law of Attraction journey into high gear. Simply type in the search what you are looking for and select from the entire results for your perfect image. A great way to do this is by using Google images to narrow down the results to pictures alone. It makes the treasure hunt a lot easier than clicking through links. Save all of your images to a folder and then print them out. Make sure you have colour ink to get the most visual appeal out of your images.

In Magazines – If you have a wide selection of magazines to choose from and don’t mind cutting them into pieces, this can be a great way to find exactly what you are looking for. It might take a little more time, but it is a lot of fun. Bring out the collection of dusty magazines or ask for the old copies that others are throwing away. For those that have the cash to spare, try investing in a few specific types of magazines based on the images you want. Travel and automotive magazines are always a great place to start.

Add Positive Affirmations to Boost Effectiveness:

When you finish getting all of your images together for everything on your list, it’s time to boost their effectiveness with positive affirmations. For each image you want to include on your vision board, write down something short and to the point. You want it to affirm those things you want are on their way to you. Use the present tense as if they are already becoming part of your life.

Some Examples of Positive Affirmations Include:
  1. I travel to Hawaii and enjoy a warm, relaxing vacation
  2. The person of my dreams is coming into my life
  3. I am excited about getting my dream car
  4. I easily attract money like a magnet
  5. I am more physically fit and attractive with each passing day

Even I wrote mine down (on computer of course) with some pictures, of what comes to mind, look at them for a while, then left it for a day or two before going back to it.  Then they will either jump out at you or fade away..

“The sum of all choices decides your future”

Every step I take brings me more success in my career

Each positive affirmation can be catered to your own Positive affirmation writting blockpersonality. Get creative with it and add some humour, spirituality or inspiring quotes. Whatever makes you feel like nothing is stopping you from achieving all of your goals is what you should include. You can print the words out on paper and cut them out or get in touch with your artistic side and do your own bubble letters – whatever works best for you.

Everyone really wants to do something, but there are few that will put forward the needed effort to make the necessary sacrifice to secure it.

The Final Touches:

After you have finished cutting everything out, arrange everything so that the most important things are at the focal point, then place everything else around those. This can be done on a piece of poster board, magnetic surface or on a cork board. For a more permanent vision board use the poster board. If you are the kind of person that changes their mind, use the magnetic surface or cork board. That way you can easily replace things as they are achieved or if you decide you want something else.

Remember to make sure you play with it for a day or two until you are satisfied happy comfortable and confident, then all your aspirations’ will befall you quicker than you can imagine.

Nothing more than free advice, as you feel ready and “Stick “ the board together, then it will be set in concrete for ever!!

Glue, magnetize, or pin each image in place and take a step back to admire your masterpiece. It might not sound like much at this moment, but when you have it all finished and you are looking at it, you’ll know the great power it truly has over your positive energy level. With every look you will automatically recharge that motivation for maximum Law of Attraction magnetism.

How to Get the Most Out of Your New Vision Board:

Your vision board is complete and it looks amazing. However, if you don’t know how to use it you might as well have done it all for nothing. So though this is the very last step to creating a powerfully effective vision board, it is the most important step of all. You’ll need to make it work for you.

Here’s How:

1. Place it somewhere that you will see it often. Make it a priority to just look at it without distractions for 5 minutes or so throughout the day. Set an alarm or work it into your break time. Just make sure you set aside at least 15 minutes daily.

2. Believe that every single thing on your vision board is a part of your life and that it is all on the way right now.

3. Imagine yourself as if you already have everything you see. Let the details of having what you want fill your mind and really feel what it’s like to live that life. Think about how grateful you feel for each and every one of those things.

4. Carry this feeling of certainty and happiness with you throughout each situation on a daily basis and watch as your reality transforms to match that of your vision board.

When all of your dreams have come true, be sure to practice gratitude for everything you have. If you feel really ambitious, set new goals with another vision board to lead the way!

Be careful of your desires, make a mental picture of what you want and set your will to this until it materializes. Never allow yourself to drift without helm or rudder.

From The Secret Daily Teachings

When you exist in the great state of gratitude, you become a person who only wants to give. You become so grateful that it takes over your life, and you can’t find enough opportunities in a day to give. You give joy, you give love, you give money, you give appreciation, you give compliments, and you give kindness. You give the best of yourself in your job, in your relationships, and to strangers.

You will know when you have really found true gratitude, because you will become a giver. One who is truly grateful cannot be anything else.  May the joy be with you,
