Steps to True Happiness

Adrienne AustermannIf I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

Under the umbrellas of intention and authenticity lie core values we can foster which will help lead us to, and maintain, the ultimate state of happiness – to be happy with yourself. Values such as integrity, compassion, empathy and trust are the cornerstones of personal growth and fulfillment.

Living with intention simply means to be mindful that your actions are purposeful with forward movement. You intend to be compassionate, you intend to forgive, and you intend to choose love. Shed your expectations of others. No one is perfect, nor should you expect them to be. Flaws can build character; acknowledge them and strive for growth over perfection. Because the places we grow mostly exist outside our comfort zone, we must continually challenge ourselves to try new things and take risks. Take a stand for what is right, even if you stand alone. There is no point in pursuing popularity, if you can’t live with yourself.

Intend to help others, not change them. When someone reaches out, give them something to hold onto, even if it is simple, compassionate words of encouragement. Advise, model and support others knowing that everyone has their own personal journey and lessons to learn – some of which my come from you. Practice empathy. The ability to acknowledge another person’s feelings is a powerful gift of validation that you can give often and freely.

To live with authenticity is to not let others define you. You should never be in conflict with who you are, and who others expect you to be. Be true to yourself without worrying about trite things like “fitting in” or being judged. Authenticity is about acknowledging and honoring your unique gifts and utilizing them throughout your life.

Trust your instincts. They will serve you well. Your instincts are a powerful accumulation of knowledge and experience that you can’t always articulate but are burned into your subconscious. I believe blind faith can be equally as dangerous as it can be up-lifting. Seek to know, not just believe. And when there are no answers, trust your instincts.

Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. Unfortunately, people hurt each other. You deserve to be free from the weight of resentment and anger. Forgiving can be a gift of peace to yourself. Be mindful not to over think, relive, or obsess over outcomes out of your control. Wanting, wishing and hoping for something to be different will never make it so. Accept, even when you can’t understand.

Finally, never forget your dreams. It’s ok to put them on the back burner as life unfolds in unexpected ways. But while they are there, let them simmer. Stir them up every now and then, and when the time is right, bring them forth and pursue them with passion.

Be humble, be grateful and always be mindful of fostering the values that lead to your higher self, and the ultimate state of happiness – inner peace.

10 things to do and be effective

An advantage we all have is the ability to control what we do each day. We can improve our productivity, or not! You decide.  In too many cases, we are the only ones who know when we are falling short of our best level of performance. It’s no surprise that many managers have no idea  regarding the difference between mediocrity and excellence.

clip_image001Effective people have the Key to the secret of success, which is to “Take Action”  Like many of the top performers!    You must keep your driving the pace until  you take flight.

Here are 10 things that effective people do

  • clip_image003Starting early. Sam Walton arrived to work at 3 am. Perhaps a little early for many of us, but we need to get an early start. “The early Bird”
  • Accepting good and bad news as part of moving on!  As you progress up the ladder, you will be in the line of fire, so remember who you pass on the way up!  Because what doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.
  • Having a long term perspective. Never thinking about short term gains, thus focusing on building a strong successful foundation success.
  • Avoiding the petty and uninteresting information.  It is counterproductive to spread rumours, be disrespectful or talk bad about colleagues and never criticizing management. Its much better to focus on the task ahead and the results it will bring.
  • Always be professional. Do not lose control. You want others to describe you as a “professional person.” This is the compliment we all strive for thus reaching an important milestone.
  • Focusing on the key areas that bring the results you are aiming for!  At the next meeting, observe and study the leaders of your organization and how they focus on what the important issues are. They have the ability to identify the problems as the professionals they are.
  • Treating others with respect, we are not better, but we have a different look on matters and may have accomplished more in certain areas, we must always appreciate what others bring to the table.
  • Be humble, we do not know everything. We must be open to working in teams.  When we put our minds together, we can tackle enormous projects, which lead to huge benefits for the organization.
  • Confront problems!  Address immediately. Those who are excellent performers are aware of small problems and prevent them from escalating. Taking a proactive approach is preferred.
  • Be committed to sharing the wealth and knowledge. Rewarding those who do well, as we are not solely responsible for the huge accomplishments. Be humble, and praise others publicly and privately when they contribute to our goals and initiatives.
  • Successful people are extraordinary in the sense that they understand the importance of knowledge, commitment, and humility. The process to greatness is well established but realizing it requires significant effort.

Another inspiring story as it is told

clip_image002If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

When I conceive the thoughts of humanity and the humbleness that it inspires, I remember that one’s journey is not limited to definition alone. We are each unique but interconnected within our own vibrational energies. I wish to share that what does not matter are the definitions and/or labels of one’s self.

What I would wish to leave behind as a remembrance to others, my own family and children is not only that of love and what it is to love but that abundance is in everything, every nook, every cranny, and everywhere.

To know that being happy is a matter of choice and how we intrinsically move towards that is to essentially look inward but also, outward. To achieve this profoundly is not to compare oneself to another but to remember the smaller details in life. Start here: That by and of itself, look towards nature and all that it holds.

We have to believe in free will, we have no choice. – Isac Bashevis Singer

What matters most? Simple: You. You do. Within yourself — You’re perfect.

To find peace fundamentally is to look towards the beauty and serenity of the intrinsic out of doors. To remember that in nature the birds do not worry if there will be enough air to fly, the fields do not worry if enough sunshine will be available, the grass does not count how many more blades there are or are they in completion with one another and nor do the animals worry where they will love next.

Humans tend to put much emphasis upon what nature shows us how to do exquisitely. Be nature. The trees do not count their leaves, but humans count our investments and bank accounts often. By trust and by faith does nature do this in symmetry and seemingly by grace alone. Nature does not show worry. It does not show greed. It does not wonder if it is ‘good enough’ or ‘not good enough’.

It simply IS.

By acknowledging that there is greatness and goodness everywhere when it all feels as though it is not, if one were to look and to recognize that Spirit is abounding for us ALL, loving and peaceful, and that no matter, we are being truly being guided, taken care of and cannot truly make a mistake is not only a great faith in Creator, but ourselves and our own Being.

Know this if anything: That we are not ever truly alone, that our pasts are only but haunted houses from whence the ghosts’ spring forth. Remember to move forward is to take a great leap of faith in yourself and have faith of knowing that yes, solace is truly available. Love is all around us, though we hesitate and not see. My core essence is in knowing that Spirit is plenteous.

What I desire to share is to be the person in which you need most in your life. Share and assist in understanding overflowing unity in all concepts. That unity is everywhere. What I share is that there are no errors in life, only choices and expansion. Today’s challenges are tomorrow’s new strengths. The rest is but vibrations to learn from.

What matters most? Simple: You. You do. Within yourself — You’re perfect.

Successful Networker in 500 words Love is the only Answer

Love is the Only Answer

If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

If I only had one word to describe and answer the questions I have posed to myself since I have been a little girl, the word would be Love.

I hands round heartwould wish people were able to reach out to one another, to share, to cooperate, and to serve, realizing there is nothing to lose by being open-hearted, generous and fearless. There are only two emotions – love and fear – that determine our success and our joy in life. If one chooses love, there can be no fear because that person is willing to risk being different, unique, and to walk with dignity no matter what challenges surface.

As a sensitive being, unaware that energy in our thoughts and actions create either our greatest pleasures or our greatest challenges, it was hard for me to observe people, understand how they affected me, themselves, and the world around them. For so many emotions, behaviour’s and reactions are happening around us and also entering our energy field, which causes us to either feel safe or afraid. As we are sensory beings, we must discover we are connected to each other and the Universal Source of life, and as such, have immense potential and responsibility to grow and change, enabling us to live a prosperous, healthy physical and spiritual life.

I have learned this can be accomplished quite simply by following your intuition, inner judgment, developing your own talents and goals and knowing yourself to be a magnificent conscious, living aspect of the Divine Wisdom of the Ages, which flows through the DNA of every living person on this planet. Therefore, when you search within yourself for what makes you unique and special, you will find that the gift of life, your life, is exactly right for your human experience and journey and you will trust yourself to respond to the higher values of Spirit and the Universal Laws of Energy.

Ridding yourself of the restrictions, fears and limitations of your earlier life is the benefit for those who work to go within. Meditation and the study of the magnificent work of writers, artists, spiritualists, medical professionals, educators, and religious leaders – who all in one way or another seek the answers to the questions, “Who are we?”, “Where do we come from?”, and “Where we are going?” – help us to keep an open mind and an open heart to receive many viewpoints and greater love into our lives.

Parents can only give good advice, but the final forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands."   Anne Frank

love and starsWhen each of us can go merely beyond our self interests, love of family, friends, and our own pursuits, and reach out beyond the comfortable limits of our everyday life for the larger view of existence, we must be able to let go of human weaknesses-control, manipulation and judgment. Then we will be on the way to becoming what we have forgotten, that we are loving, respectful, compassionate, grateful, humble, patient, and ever expanding souls and citizens of the world and Universe.
