Enjoy and embrace simplicity.

Luke SniewskiNo, that doesn’t mean poverty. Nor is that the polar opposite of wealth. Living simply is experiencing and appreciating the small things in life that are taken for granted by those constantly looking outside of themselves for happiness.

Real happiness will never be found in a pill, television, car, or iPod. This materialistic view will result in a never-ending pursuit of “things” that never quite fill the hole trying to be filled. In fact, it only grows with the more “things” you acquire. Instead, the key to happiness is found by satisfying the needs that should be natural and commonplace for all of mankind.


The things that make us human are the very same things that are lacking in the lives of those lost in their world of materialism. The first of these qualities is optimal health. Most of us are born with all the potential in to world to be healthy and happy. Yet in our quest for financial freedom, we get lost in the rat race. We neglect and sacrifice our own health for a few bucks. In the end, we are the ones that suffer with increased medical costs and, worse yet, a decreased quality of life.

There is an old saying that “he who dies with the most toys wins”. That statement could not be farther from the truth. Your health is all you have. Every time you avoid fast foods and choose wholesome natural foods, you are investing in yourself and your future. When you choose to exercise instead of playing video games, you circulate life-providing blood, oxygen, and nutrients throughout your body.

Nothing pays higher dividends than the healthy lifestyles that provide the nourishment you need to function at optimal levels. In order to enjoy the toys you do acquire during this lifetime, make sure you live long enough to truly enjoy them.


The need to connect is so obvious when you see the popularity of social networking websites. There is a valuable lesson to be learned here. Help and support your community and they will support you. Living in fear inside four walls and a ceiling, you will miss out on so much growth and support available to you. A stranger is only a friend you’ve yet to meet. When you find your family, friends, and people, live for them.

Visualize Before Sleep – Wake Up Thinner

Danger thin ice boardCould there be any truth to those claims that you can think yourself thinner? On the surface it doesn’t seem likely, since it is hard to imagine how you could change your metabolic rate (the rate at which you burn fat) simply by changing your way of thinking.


But of course changing your metabolic rate isn’t the only way to think yourself thinner. If you can convince yourself to adopt habits that reduce the amount of food you eat, or change the types of foods you eat to a more healthy selection, then you are going to lose weight. That’s not rocket science. The trouble is that it can be hard to implement healthy habits, especially if you are saddled with bad ones that you have picked up over the duration of your lifetime.

Weight loss is an on-going problem fro most of us, keeping the rightVisualise heart rate weight is in need of exercise.  Yes “Exercise” we all need this for our health   and following the latest fad diets and trying the popular exercise programs of the day, does not work unless you are committed. Both of these approaches turned out to be based on a poor understanding of how the human body responds to food and exercise.
Even when one stumbles across good advice it is hard to stick to it, one needs a mentor or person to compete with the suggested course of action for the length of time that is needed to see long-lasting results.

Until you examine your core beliefs about food and exercise then and only then are you able to see where the problem is. After that it was just a matter of figuring out how to isolate those beliefs and replace them with ones that helped, rather than hindering your efforts to lose weight.
One of the technique to learn is visualisation.

This is the practice of running a movie through your mind of the results you hope to achieve from your efforts. Athletes will often employ the practice of visualisation when they are having trouble attaining the degree of performance they think they ought to be able to achieve but are not. In fact, using visualization to help get over the fear of standing on stage for example, or any form of exercise we all would do if time allowed .

Visualisation can also be used to help lose weight, visualising yourself  slimmer and healthier before you go to sleep at night is one method. But who does or remember to as by the time you are ready to sleep that is the easier option: To Sleep!  This can reprogram your mind over time, a long time. Subconsciously we can do this yet we do not and still look in the mirror for the real picture – Faith is the key  Of course you can tell yourself you are thinner and fitter but you do not feel thinner and fitter, or even confident, this can be over come with the blade or alternative weight loss programme

Now Any weight loss programmes is as good as the regime, products etc. but you have the deciding factor in your mind.  Habits are the making of your fitness and I mean the right habits. you are not going to wake up any thinner but belief and self help  is the key with your inner Runner fit in chartself (that slim body in your visualisations). Thus it will encourage you to  establish the right habits to make your outer self merge with your inner self.   In practice this means you will begin eating more healthy foods and enjoy those foods more than you used to do. You’ll see more rewards in working out and be less inclined to skip workouts. In short, you’ll do the RIGHT thing more often than you did before.

The key is to start, if confidence is not there yet do look at weight loss programmes, like “Tighten Tone & Firm in 45 minutes”  It’s not magic. It’s just a consequence of tapping into the power of your subconscious mind to get done the things you know are possible but until now you may have had trouble putting into effect.
