“The goal is not to be better than anyone else but rather be better than you were yesterday.” – Jon Gordon

  Lynn Scheurell

If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

The things I know for sure at this point are deceptively simple in mere words, but they are as follows:

  1. As you evolve, your world evolves – it all starts with your own development. Grow with every challenge to give you the opportunity for transformative healing. Align with what feels right; your spirit knows more than your conscious mind. Trust and let it grow you to match the infinite consciousness of your being.
  2. You are creating your reality; own what you’ve created so far to give yourself the permission and the power to create your new future. Be conscious in every aspect of living including your discoveries and your commitments. When you are present, there is no such thing as default outcomes. Know that where you are now is not a predictor of where you will be – it’s just where you are right now.
  3. Follow your own wisdom and know what you know – take action accordingly. It might fly in the face of external circumstances, situations, relationships… but the shortest path is to follow your own counsel or you risk disempowering your most positive source of strength and wisdom – yourself. No one else can know what is true for you…and you’re the one who has to live with the results.
  4. Friends and family cannot support you. Their job is to love you, which means to protect you from risk, give you their prescription for success (not yours), and keep you the same as they know you. Give yourself the gift of a community of like-spirited people to help you be your biggest, boldest self.
  5. Forgive yourself. You have done, and are doing, your best with what you know at any given moment. If you knew better, you’d do better – and that goes for the people around you too. Release the need for perfection, judgment and learning through pain and punishment. Remember that dark cannot exist where there is light… focus on your guiding light.
  6. Everything happens for a reason – there’s a bigger picture that has a lot of moving parts, karmic agreements with people and a big life purpose that only you can fulfill. Every experience is moving you to where you need to be… and you’re always right on schedule.
  7. Whatever is right and yours will wait for you to claim it. Your possibilities are exponential, but might not be visible to you in the moment as Source puts them together to deliver to you your desires. Stay out of resistance to what ‘is’ and accept what comes to you as the opportunity it is and/or will lead to…consider such things as both an invitation to step up and a benchmark to celebrate your growth.

You CAN live the life of your dreams… I am living proof and in gratitude every day for my being in the opportunity to do my sacred purpose with the amazing people who come into my world.

7 Leadership Secrets

"When you grow up, you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world, try not to bash into the walls too much, try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money… but that’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact–and that is everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you." -Steve Jobs

7 Secrets I Learnt From The Leadership Pill by Ken Blanchard

1. Leadership is not just what happens when you are there. It’s what happens when you are not there.

This is a very useful distinction and should become an outcome for anyone who wants to lead. Team that functions even if the leader is not around is something unique and requires a different level of skills. The next points will give couple of ideas how to get there. A great leader builds their people. The better your people, the more free time you have.

2. Profit is the applause you get for taking care of your customers and creating a motivating environment for people.

Isn’t it an interesting twist in perception and sequence? There are so many organisations that do exactly opposite. This model helps to remove from constantly focusing on just getting a quick financial gain that looks good in a short term, but on the other hand it can strongly damage the two most important parts of your organisations: your customers and your team.

3. Leadership is not something you do to people, it is something you do with them.

Simple but powerful truth. If you are setting off for a team leading journey, remember to take your team with you. Communicate and involve. Simple but also so often forgotten.

4. The key to effective leadership is the relationship you build with your team.

An extension from the previous points. The relationship you build with your team should be the way how you judge your success as a leader.

5. Sharing the big picture puts everyone on the same page.

Effective communication will always be the key leadership skill while building a team. A clear vision gives the strong sense of direction, or even a sense of excitement and a powerful drive, if properly communicated.

6. You will go a lot further if you stop to refuel.

That is something I must admit I have been guilty of. It is so crucially important to pause, relax and change your perception with different activities, different people. So take time for sport, short trips, dancing, reading watching movies, hiking etc. If you are scoring and winning take time to celebrate, if you are missing your target and not really getting what you want, find time to reflect and get some distance to gain new perspective. Albert Einstein put it nicely: “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them”

7. The highest achievement of a leader is winning respect and trust of your team.

Again, I love what Ken Blanchard is doing here. Measure your success of leadership not by financial numbers but trust and respect. These two ingredients will lay a solid foundation that will be a springboard for long lasting financial results.

Hope these 7 nuggets from Ken Blanchard take your leadership skills to the max!

Grateful Gratitude

Character is accurately reflected in one’s mental attitude.
Without a strong foundation built on positive character traits, success will not long endure. It is virtually impossible to fake good character. Phonies are quickly spotted because they haven’t the substance and determination to maintain the charade. Developing good character begins with a positive attitude. Your desire to be a good, decent, honest, considerate person must first take place in your mind. When you make the decision to become a person of character, you will also find that you are much more willing to do the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do.- Napoleon hill

"Today I am grateful for resources."
Gratitude opens the door to power wisdom and the creativity of the universeIt is essential to give your focus and attention to the resources that surround you always.  And when you feel completely cut off and like there is a lack of resources, THAT is the time to give this extra attention…
There is always an abundance of resources around you, and just like everything else, noticing the resources (or not noticing them)
is completely up to you – it is your choice. And trust me, when you take time to refocus your attention on resources (instead of the absence of them) then MORE flows into your life. If you are struggling with this, that’s okay, here’s some help…
Oxygen is a resource for you – Electricity is a resource for you – Water is a resource for you – Love is a resource for you
Energy is a resource for you
and the list goes on and on…
Remember, it is up to you to choose to see the resources that surround you. It is up to you to celebrate them and love them and give thanks for them, so… "Today, I am grateful for resources." You are Extraordinary!

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of lifeGratitude is an essential element when you want to raise your vibration.  You hear about how important it is at every turn. I personally talk about it all the time and it is a major part of many of my programs.

So, here’s the crazy thing that I want to share with you today because I’m concerned you may be struggling with it and it actually may be sabotaging your manifesting?
What is it?

"A moment of gratitude makes a difference in your attitude." Bruce Wilkinson

Gratitude Guilt!
Grattiude is the most important single ingredient to lifeHere is what seems to be happening with a lot of people, and maybe it is happening to you too…
They realize the importance of gratitude, so they decide to start incorporating it into their lives and they make sure to take time for gratitude every day.

At first it goes great, they feel better, they feel alive and aware of how much is in their lives that they can be grateful for that they weren’t even noticing before.

They start to feel much more connected to the power of the moment. They even start to notice that during the rest of their day they are seeing more and more things to be grateful for, big things and small things seem to leap out at them and they are excited by how amazing these new found gratitude glasses feel.
And then?
Gratitude guilt starts to creep in and guilty thoughts bombard them, things like:

· Well, I don’t want to make other people feel bad with all I have to be grateful for.

· It’s not fair that I am experiencing gratitude for my life while the people I love aren’t.

· My friends and family are going to judge me, so I’d better not share how grateful I am.

· I don’t want to rub anyone else’s nose in my gratitude.

· If I’m not struggling, then what I achieve isn’t valuable, and gratitude has eased my struggle, etc. Does this sound familiar?

Are You Selling The WRONG Opportunity.

If you want to attract a better job or anything better than what you currently have, it is important to understand how the law of attraction works.  You know that to bring in something better you must imagine what that better thing looks like in your mind, and then live in that picture as though it is here now. But you should also know that if you complain about your current job, for example, and continue to focus on all the negative things, you will never bring the better job to you. You must look for the things to be grateful for in your current job. Each thing you find to be grateful for is helping to bring that better job to you. That is really working the law!                    May the joy be with you, Rhonda Byrne The Secret… bringing joy to billions

Here’s a little question to think about.

Are you selling the WRONG business opportunity?

“Due diligence” on any company is the key, search and seek help advice or more information on Network marketing Opportunities, thus ensuring you have the right information on what you are looking for then seek a person in that business.

What’s the first thought that just popped into your mind?

For most people I bet it’s either the company or their products, or services.

And how “GOOD” they are. How they help people do what is required to succeed.

Of course how incredible their “system” is… the override structure, the “unique” builder bonuses and back up. Right?

After all isn’t that why you decided to join the business you’re in, or looking at  because of how unique this company is and how different this particular opportunity is?  That is what most people sell and to be honest the majority do succeed…

The reason why Most people struggle to Sponsor a Large Number Of People is  not because of the product (which is an on-going type of business expecting people to keep buying) or service based businesses but because of the attitude and willingness to help and provide those looking for something better than the “JOB”  Offering a life one can only dream about, until now!

what is it that get people really excited.? I can GUARANTEE that people  join your business for a much different reasons, There Own!  And why Not!

Oh sure it’s important to feel good about what you do in your business and I’m certain you believe 100% in the opportunity… But those are the supporting reasons behind your decision.

The REAL reason behind why you do what you do… and it’s the same reason why others will join you… which is actually the “same reason EVERYONE buys anything… “

… it’s to make themselves feel BETTER about themselves and why not!

Every buying decision (and recruiting someone is a sales process… they need to BUY INTO what you do)… is an emotional one. If you are not concerned about what others desire want or need, you are not doing your job to be the best at “Network Marketing.”

We can come up with dozens of reasons WHY people buy… but if we boil it all down to one thing, it’s to… … FEEL BETTER ABOUT OURSELVES. Why not!

The house we live in, the car we drive, the clothes we wear, the TV in your house, the furniture, the colour of paint you chose for your walls… EVERYTHING has an emotional reason attached to it.

So knowing this let’s back up and think when talking to someone about your business… is it the “life changing” product or a “unique” compensation plan or the vision of a founder is what REALLY going to get someone to move? Not necessarily but how good the company is and the: training and back up provided does offer a guarantee of support which should be on going.

What will get people to move are their own personal desires and reasons.

Here are 7 motivators we ALL have, in no particular order:

1. Money
2. Security
3. Recognition
4. Achievement
5. Love of Family
6. Acceptance of Others
7. Self-Acceptance

They are running automatically in the background and WHEN we make buying decisions it’s for one or more of these reasons.

Now they all can be tied back to making us feel good about ourselves.

When you’re loved by your family… accepted by others… have money… recognized or appreciated…. all of it makes us feel good, right?

So when others are considering joining your business and you speak to them about things which do not satisfy these… things that are IMPORTANT TO THEM… you have NO CHANCE of getting them to join. That is the reason why you should be providing all information on the company and services so they can see what you have to offer, But only if you seek what it is that they desire from your business by asking them.. It is that simple.

If all you talk to them about is money… you may temporarily appeal to their GREED, but it won’t last unless you can grab them emotionally with their REAL reason(s).  When they can see themselves getting what THEY want as a result of associating with you… that’s when you got them.

Which is why it’s important to ask questions, and pay close attention to what they tell you.  People will usually tell you what they need for you to recruit them.

A good question to ask people, and it’s a general one, but it does wonders in terms of digging DEEP to discover their REAL MOTIVATOR, and it’s….

Not What is Important To You but to the person or people that you are offering the business too.

When they indicate they want to make more money, pretty much everyone says that… you have to find out WHY it is important to them to make more money, if you wish them to succeed as well as you have.

Think about it, if they really wanted to make more money, if that was their only motivator… then why have they not got the money desire yet?

I think often people don’t really know what they want… so they say they want bigger house, car, more money… but it’s really what all these things will do for them… how they will make them feel.

I can tell you a lot of the leaders in Network Marketing are driven by praise and recognition, for the company and those in the business thus helping them move on to better things, the money does help no matter who you are.

People will do incredible things to get recognized and feel appreciated, I do not know of any person whom does not desire these things . something we all crave for in life, from family to the job, it is a human desire and we area all worthy of these desires.

We all like being special people, with our children, family and friend’s, someone  that they all would be proud of… providing lots of security… these things drive us and when you can appeal to them in your recruiting… it will dwarf anything else and will become the dominant reason people will flock to YOU and join YOU.

So if you find you are not sponsoring as many people as you’d like, yet you feel like you are doing everything else right… it just might be that you are selling the WRONG thing.

And a little change in your approach to focus on THEM… THEIR GOALS, DREAMS and MOTIVATIONS…

… just might do the trick.

Act on your own initiative, but be prepared to assume full responsibility for your acts.
One of the primary differences between those who achieve greatness in their lives and those who manage only to “get by” is that successful people learned early in life that they were responsible for their own actions. No other person can make you successful or keep you from achieving your goals. Taking the initiative means assuming a leadership role, a position that singles you out for praise — and for criticism. The good leader is the one who shares the credit for success with others and assumes full responsibility for failures or temporary setbacks. When you accept responsibility for your actions, you gain the respect of others and are well on the way to creating your own future. – Napoleon Hill

From The Secret Daily Teachings

When you exist in the great state of gratitude, you become a person who only wants to give. You become so grateful that it takes over your life, and you can’t find enough opportunities in a day to give. You give joy, you give love, you give money, you give appreciation, you give compliments, and you give kindness. You give the best of yourself in your job, in your relationships, and to strangers.

You will know when you have really found true gratitude, because you will become a giver. One who is truly grateful cannot be anything else.

5 Principles of Balanced Success

Family, Opportunity

Ruth NemzoffIf I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

After having several successful careers, a marriage of fifty-one years, four children, and eight grandchildren, people ask how I’ve done it all. With hindsight, I see that I’ve always had these five guiding principles in the back of my mind.

1. When opportunity knocks, answer. Take every opportunity that comes your way, even if you don’t have a clue how to do the task. You’ll either figure out how to do it, or you’ll fail and pick yourself up and move on. Either way you will have learned something. Remember, you don’t learn to play tennis without hitting the ball into the net a few times.

2. Work, family and community. always have these three arenas in your life. Invariably something will be good in one of these arenas and something will be frustrating in another. In just one day, you may be praised at work and “dissed” at home, or vice versa. This helps you keep perspective that you are human.

3. Prioritize family. In the tough times that come to every life, loved ones matter, not money or things. It is easy to let the family take second place, because they won’t fire you. It often seems impossible to do this when you are working and bringing up young children. But merely putting down your phone or computer and looking directly at your partner or child while they are talking to you can save you time in the long run.

4. Take care of yourself. Figure out what is the most efficient way for you to get some time to yourself. For some, this is simply staring out the window while doing the dishes or vegging out during the work commute. For others, it involves listening to music or exercising for twenty minutes. If you only serve others you become resentful. Sometimes all you can do is take a second each day to note the beauty of the sky. Even this will refresh you.

5. Don’t strive for perfection. We are all a mix of assets and liabilities. Strengthen both, but recognize that what makes us unique is the combination. Don’t waste precious time being angry with yourself. Instead, learn from your mistakes and act better the next time. Moreover, in order to have good relationships with others, you have to have a good relationship with yourself. Enjoy who you are, be forgiving of yourself.

Life is filled with twists and turns. We cannot control everything that happens to us but we have some role in how we react to the circumstances that come our way. Make a plan, set goals, prepare for the future you want, but recognize the plan needs constant modification. Be nimble and be quick to change course as opportunities come your way.  Do not waste time regretting what can no longer be. I learned from my father, who was a school teacher and a principal, that one must make decisions and then make them the best decision. Be proactive to do so.

A burning desire to be and to do is the starting point from which the dreamer must take off.
Many years ago, the commencement speaker at a prestigious university asked all members of the graduating class who had a definite plan for their lives to hold up their hands. As he looked around the room, only three hands were raised. Twenty-five years later, when the class held a reunion, the combined net worth of those three individuals exceeded that of the remainder of the class. People who know where they are going, always achieve far greater levels of success than those who merely drift through life, expecting circumstances to create opportunities for them. Successful people create their own opportunities by focusing on goals with an intensity that borders on obsession. In this way, every action moves them toward their goal.     Napoleon Hill
