6 Things Life is TOO Short to Worry About

6 Things Life is TOO Short to Worry About

The Abundance Project

Life is too short to being worrying about things that don’t help us be happy and abundance!  With a little brain tweaking, lets drop these common worries and start focusing on things that REALLY MATTER.

So here are 6 things that we need to stop worrying about to have a better life.

Being Miserable at work.

Don’t work a job that you hate.  There are too many options, and you are too important to be unhappy 40 hours a week!  Why don’t you leave that job for someone who actually wants it.  You’ll be doing yourself a favour.  Or do it for the person that will be happy in that job, if you aren’t high enough on own your priority list.

Putting yourself down.

Each time you step in front of the mirror I want you to remember that “this is an opportunity to see what’s good about me”.  In any mirror you are able to see the good.  Life is too hard to be putting yourself down.  So every time you step in front of the mirror know that this is an opportunity to compliment, uplift, and truly appreciate what you have going for you!

Valuing Others Opinions, over your own.

Lets say you have a project at work that you care a lot about, would you let someone come in and tell you what to do about a project , they know nothing about?! No you wouldn’t.  Don’t compromise all the work you’ve done on yourself by over valuing others opinions and undervaluing your own.  Trust yourself.  You know what is best for you.

Criticizing others

Lets just create a nicer environment for everyone, if you want to stop criticizing yourself, you must stop criticizing others first!

Comparing yourself to others.

No amount of wishing and hoping that you looked or had what others do, will make it happen.   But learning to be happy anywhere, can help us be happy everywhere.  if you can learn to be happy with who you are and what you have, this will translate into the rest of your life.

No more Excuses.

Don’t be too lazy to change your life.  To carry an excuse, first you have to come up with it, then tell yourself more times than you can count so you start believing it, and then after that you have to convince others.  Look at all that work.  Save all that time and energy for the things that really matter!

Winning in life is more than just money; it is about winning on the inside and knowing that you have played the game of life with all you had, and then some!

Are you out of control..

"Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude." Denis Waitley

It’s completely normal to feel out of control when something goes wrong in your life.
In fact, it’s probably safe to say that it’s not normal to feel completely at peace when something unfortunate happens.
But even though it feels like all the hard work you’ve put in, all the sacrifices you’ve made, and all the life you’ve lived has done nothing to prevent you from experiencing tragedy, there is always hope for those who are willing to fight to

take control of their lives once again with hope for a better day.

If you’ve been struggling with the difficulties of life, it’s time to open your mind to a few new ideas that will help you take control of your life, fill your life with positive energy, and help you recover from your negative experiences, one day at a time.

Bad things can happen in the blink of an eye or they can occur progressively over a long period of time. One moment you are happily smiling at your fortune and everything good in your life, and the next moment something unexpected happens and you wonder how you are going to pick up the pieces of your life that have been left behind by a devastating series of events.

"The reason why it is so important to be in control of your thoughts is because your thoughts shape who you are and your perspective on life." Frank Mangano

Make it a Priority to Serve Others

Be a leader not a followerIt seems like every time something bad happens in my life, everyone tells me to forget about myself and go find someone else that needs my help. When I first began trying this technique, I felt frustrated, sorry for myself, and absolutely no motivation to lift others burdens when my life seemed so horrible. Over time my opinion changed, and now I look forward to helping others whenever I get the chance, especially if I’m in the middle of a rough patch in my life. There is just something about helping others that seems to take your problems away. You begin to focus more on loving others, and less on your own misfortunes.

Learn What the Universe Has in Store For You

Whether we want to admit it or not, there are bigger forces at play in the Universe than just ourselves. Sometimes you may not think experiencing a natural disaster, the death of a loved one, or prolonged unemployment will provide you with any benefit at all, but it’s entirely possible that the Universe is preparing you for something much bigger, a greater life responsibility than even you can comprehend at this point in time. If you think that’s the case, try to find out what that purpose and responsibility is, and seek after it.

Enjoy the Adventure of Your Life

Your life is your story and the venture ahead of you..Despite what others may believe, there is no reason to fear the future. If you look at life as one big adventure, you’ll realize that life will provide you with twists and turns that you won’t expect—some of them will be happy, and others might be sad, but that’s the best part of living. If you knew everything would always work out the way you want it to, you would get bored of your life. The greatest joy I’ve experienced in life is triumphing when all the odds were stacked against me and I was facing great adversity. It made achieving my dreams and goals all the sweeter, because I alone knew what I had to overcome to get where I wanted to be. The same will be true of you if you enjoy the ride of life, with all of its speed bumps and stop lights.

"Whatever it is you are achieving vibrational harmony with is what you are living. If you ever want to know what the vibrational content of your outpouring is, just look at the manifesting around you, because the manifesting around you is always a perfect vibrational match to the vibration that is dominant within you." Cheer up. Be happy. Find the silver lining. Smile.
If you didn’t know any better, you might say we’re a country that preaches optimism. But some 30 to 35 percent of Americans employ a calculated form of negative thinking—called defensive pessimism—that can lead to very positive results, according to Julie K. Norem, PhD, a professor of psychology at Wellesley College.

We’re not talking about a general disposition to see the glass half-empty: "Defensive pessimism is a strategy used in specific situations to manage anxiety, fear, and worry," says Norem, who has conducted seminal research on the subject. "Defensive pessimists," she says, "prepare for a situation by setting low expectations for themselves, then follow up with a very detailed assessment of everything that may go wrong." Once they’ve imagined the full range of bad outcomes, they start figuring out how they’ll handle them, and that gives them a sense of control.

"What’s intriguing about defensive pessimists," adds Lawrence Sanna, PhD, a professor of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who has also studied the phenomenon, "is that they tend to be very successful people, and so their low opinion of the outcome isn’t realistic; they use it to motivate themselves to perform better." For example, an executive is getting ready to pitch a project, and she thinks beforehand, "The client is going to be really difficult; he’s not going to like my proposal. I have to make sure I explain things very clearly." "She uses defensive pessimism as a tool to work through all the possibilities so she’s prepared for everything, even failure," Sanna says. "And if she does fail, she’s ready for it, so it’s not so catastrophic."

If all this sounds familiar (

take the quiz to see if you use defensive pessimism), a piece of advice from the experts may give you a lift: Don’t listen to appeals from friends or family to look on the bright side. "Research shows that if you pressure defensive pessimists into being optimistic, or try to manipulate their mood, their performance deteriorates," says Andrew J. Elliot, PhD, professor of psychology at the University of Rochester. One of the most frequent comments Norem got after publishing The Positive Power of Negative Thinking in 2001 was "Thank you. I can finally tell my mother to shut up."

Distance does not matter if two hearts are loyal to each other

· Everything has a frequency – everything! And whatever you’re feeling is bringing everything into your life that’s on a similar frequency to you.

· Life is responding to you. Life is communicating with you. Everything you see – every sign, every colour, person, object – everything you hear, every circumstance and event, are on your frequency.

· When you are feeling happy, and you keep feeling happy, then only happy people, circumstances, and event can come into your life.

· There are no accidents or coincidences in life – Everything is synchronicity – because everything has a frequency. It’s simply the physics and life of the universe in action.

· Think of something you love, and make it your symbol of the force of love. Whenever you see your symbol or hear t, you will know that the force of love is with you.

· Place the force of love ahead of you in everything you do. Imagine each thing in your day going well, and feel love inside yourself as much as you can, before you do anything.

· Ask questions every day. When you ask a question you are giving a question, and you must receive the answer. Love grows by giving

· Harness the force of love to help you with anything in your life. The force of love will be your personal assistant, money manager, personal health trainer, and relationship councillor.

· If your mind is consumed with too many details, the details will distract you and pull you down, simplify your life, and don’t give too much importance to little things. What difference does it make?

· The force of love has no opposite. There is no other power in life but love. All the negative things you see in e world are always, always a lack of love.

Love Above

Love is the highest power we possess to be in complete harmony with the law of attraction. The more love we feel the greater our power. The more selfless love we feel, the more unfathomable our power. The law of attraction has been called the law of love, because the law itself is a gift of love to humanity. It is the law by which we can create incredible lives for ourselves. The more love we feel the greater our power to create a magnificent life of love, joy, and harmony. May the joy be with you, Rhonda Byrne
