Something for every one around the world sent tome today *A Quiet PRAYER*

I was so impressed with this message sent to me today and decided nothing is needed other than to send it to YOU        God Bless one & all and have a Wonderful Festive Season & a Very Very Happy New Year

*A Quiet PRAYER*
There is nothing better than older people praying for you.

We’re not getting older, just getting closer to home! The instructions are to pick four people you want God to bless.

I picked you. Please pass this to at least four people you want to pray for and include me.

This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards.   *

Let’s always pray for one another.*

The prayer:

Father:
Thank You for each and every day You have blessed us here on earth. Thank You for Your tender mercies.

Thank You for giving us friends and family to share joys and sorrows with.

I ask You to bless my friends, relatives, brothers and sisters and those I care deeply for, who are reading this right now.

Where there is joy, give them continued joy.

Where there is pain or sorrow, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence.

Where there is need, fulfil their needs.

Bless their homes, families, their goings and their comings.

Amen.

If you choose to send this to more than four people, you are truly blessed to have such friends.

"Leaders aren’t born, they are made. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to  achieve any goal which is worthwhile."                        Vince Lombardi

"Great leaders do many things, but perhaps the most telling characteristic is a natural and authentic ability to inspire excellence while maintaining strength and a modicum of humility. These are the people who will lead you to success – in the battlefield or in the boardroom. The true reflection of a leader’s ability is measured not only in a company’s bottom line, but also in the success and empowerment of each individual.
Being a boss doesn’t necessarily make you a leader; nor does being bossy. In fact, a leader isn’t always the boss. The difference between the two is this: Bosses manage, leaders inspire. Anyone can manage, but not everyone can lead.
Great leaders command confidence and trust not by demanding, but by encouraging."
These words of wisdom on leadership from Amy Cosper, Editor in Chief of Inc. Magazine, couldn’t be more on point. As you lead, keep in mind the difference between being a boss and being a leader.

"You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations in what you can do except the limitations of your own mind." – Darwin P. Kingsley

We are each meant to be impact people. My son, Richard, once wrote this sweet and comical line, “Faster than a negative thought, more powerful than a bad mood, able to leap their greatest fear in a single bound: It’s Impact Person!”
Today, decide to be an impact person. You can find a moment in your day where you are crossing someone else’s path and be a demonstration, an example, and a presence of love even with a smile, a word or a thought.

"Why don’t people like me?"
It’s a question you’ve undoubtedly asked yourself before. As a writer. As an artist. As a manager. As a creative professional. As a human being. We genuinely want people to like us. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
But what is wrong is trying to make people like you. It’s not your job to convince everyone – or anyone – that you’re awesome. In fact, if you find yourself needing to be persuasive to gain friends, supporters, fans, and followers, you’re probably doing something wrong.
Instead of telling – start showing. Focus on doing great work. Focus on perfecting your craft. Don’t focus on what everyone else IS doing – focus on what they ARE NOT doing – that’s where you’ll find your opportunity to shine.
By doing great things – and sticking to your guns – you may lose some support – but the real love, support, friendship, and follow-ship will undoubtedly shine through.

It is important to remember that it is your thoughts and feelings together that create with the law of attraction, and you cannot separate them. Also remember that it’s your feelings that are summing up your overall frequency and telling you what you are creating in this moment. So how are you feeling right now? Could you feel better? Well then, do what it takes right now to feel better. Rhonda Byrne

Making the Most of the Hand You’re Dealt

if I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

Judy O'BeirnLife has a way of dealing each of us a deck of cards that ranges in numbers and colors. Each and every day we wake up and pull a card and the day has been defined. There are good days and great days and sad days and unhappy days; however there is one thing that is is guaranteed – you have the freedom to accept what you are dealt or you can fold.

Over the course of a little more than four years, I had no idea what cards I would be dealt or that I would desperately need to find the Ace in my deck. It seemed that the only card I was dealt was a joker, and over and over again. My choice was to stay in the game and find my own internal strength to play to the end and see where that lead me.

I believe there will be moments when you feel that your challenges are just too much, but if you look around, you will see others who want to help you, shoulder your burden and give you respite and comfort so you can come back with the courage, faith, and stamina you need. There is so much to learn from others who have already played in the same card game you have.

The strength and power to overcome all types of adversity lies within each one of us – but you are not alone.

Most importantly, almost more important than anything else, is asking “What can I do for others that will make it a tiny wee bit easier to get through a similar life event? And how can I honor those who are gone?“

It is your choice how you deal with the life you have been given. You can wallow in it or you can choose to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and do something for someone else unselfishly. Or for yourself. Find what you are passionate about, get engaged, and before long you will only find the Aces!

The most important message I have for you is that “You are not alone.” Let us be your strength!

Sherry Christmas everyone (daily mail poem)

another reminder of the good times we all enjoy Once  a Year!  The problem is it is only once a year,, why not have Christmas all year round as it makes people happy and forget the times we all love to forget,, Enjoy from Sheila Webb Buckinghamshire..

I am sorry but due to issues with my blog it will be as will the other one be going out a few days late… sorry even though I am sure you will enjoy them.  HAPPY NEW YEAR to all;       “READERS are LEADERS”

Santa had a bit of a chill, so the elves knew what to do, Tuck him up and dose him up as Santa had “Man Flu”!    But, sadly, by late December, they were all up against the plight, Of who would deliver the presents on that famous night!

The team of elves looked worried, they had lost their Christmas zest, Until one elf said “ I will drive- I’ve passed my driving test!’  He said delivering presents and calling out Ho! Ho! Ho!   Would be as easy as ABC, and now it was time to go!

They waved to Santa in his bed, with all their sacks on board, the set out on the mission, As to the sky they soared.  Their first delivery came and went, with a mince pie and a sherry, But sadly towards the last house they felt much more than merry!

They hiccupped and giggled to the reindeers’ disgusts But to the finish all their deliveries, Was a Christmas must!  It would have been successful, if the elves had self-control, but all those glasses of sherry had taken a terrible toll.

Being a little ‘light weight’ The sherry went to their heads, until they became completely confused, As to what to leave by each bed.  Young Jimmy who wanted an IPad, got a baby doll with a hat, and his sister the ‘little princess’, got knee pads and a bat!

Dad opened up his nightie And if that wasn’t enough, Mum had a book of rugby songs, that made her stand and blush!  The vicar had a mankini, Then looked on in dismay, As his wife opened up her gift- Fifty Shades of Grey!!

so next time Christmas comes around, for presents- rely on yourselves, Not a Hypochondriac Santa, and alcoholic elves

Brilliant if I say so myself  HIC!

ps one more to go..

The Power is from within, the choice is yours

Rudolph and friend’s are in training,   for they know very soon they must fly, Pulling a wonderful spangly sleigh, O’er velveteen Christmas Eve Sky,

While fairies are holding auditions, for not every sprite that you see, Has got what it takes to weave magic spells, from the top of a tinsel-tipped tree.

The elves are all wrapping up parcels, with sticky tape ribbon and string, Happy in knowing that each gift enclosed, Is a precious and wonderful thing.

The gnomes are checking the schedule, So soon now ever so soon, the sound of jingle-bell journey, will ring around the stars and the moon.

Now Santa, has over his shoulder, a sack full of absolute joy.  Presents all hand picked and ready, for each little girl and boy.

There’s carrots and mince pies on hearth rugs, In palace and semi and hut, and heads snuggled down into pillows, and eyes if not sleeping, tight shut.

And just for a few precious moments, Gold overcomes all the grey, Earth holds her breath in sweet wonder, as love and enchantment hold sway..

Six powerful promises Mark & Angela Hack

PMA Added Only..

From The Secret Daily Teachings We can never bring anything to us unless we are grateful for what we have. In fact, if somebody was completely and utterly grateful for everything, they would never have to ask for anything, because it would be given to them before they even asked.

That is the power of Gratitude.

May the joy be with you,
Rhonda Byrne

Life is not all rainbows and butterflies.  It can be tough sometimes.  And you’ve paid a heavy price to get this far, so the best option is to really make it count by moving forward from where you are.  Free yourself from the world’s negativity – from the sources of ignorance telling you what you can and cannot do – by promising to look ahead, to live ahead, and to get ahead.  In other words, start making positive promises to yourself!
Promise to fight back, to fight harder, to laugh louder and longer and slap adversity back into its seat whenever it dares to stand against you.  Promise to be a force to be reckoned with – because you are a force to be reckoned with.
Make these promises to yourself, and keep them forever.
Repeat after me: “I promise…”

1.  “I will not hold the past against myself.” – Your problems, your weaknesses, setbacks, regrets and mistakes teach you if you’re willing to learn, or they will punish you if you’re not.   So let them teach you, every day.  Take everything as a lesson learned.  If you regret some of the decisions you have made in the past, stop being so hard on yourself.  At that time, you did your best with the knowledge you had.  At that time, you did your best with the experience you had.  Your decisions were made with a younger mind.  If you were to make these decisions with the wisdom you have today, you would choose differently.  So give yourself a break.  Time and experience has a wonderful way of helping us grow and learn to make better choices today, for ourselves and those we care for.

2.  “I will own my life and never deny responsibility for it.” – Through the grapevine, you may have learned that you should blame your parents, your teachers, your mentors, the education system, the government, etc., but never to blame yourself.  Right?  It’s never, ever your fault… WRONG!  It’s always your fault to a certain extent, because if you want to change, if you want to let go and move on with your life, you’re the only person who can make it happen.  It’s YOUR move to make.  It’s YOUR responsibility.  Own it! (
from the “Adversity” chapter of our book)

3.  “I will live a life that feels right to me, not one that looks right to everyone else.” – Give yourself permission to follow the path that makes YOU happy.  And realize that some people in your life will refuse to walk beside you as you embark on this journey; they simply won’t approve no matter what you say, and that’s OK.  Sometimes when you commit yourself to creating your own happiness, it clashes with the perceptions of others.  Sometimes when you gain something great, you have to let go of something else.  And sometimes this ‘something else’ is a relationship that only wants you to do what they want you to do.

4.  “I will let go of relationships that are obviously not meant to be.” – Most people come into your life temporarily simply to teach you something.  They come and they go and they make a difference.  And it’s OK that they’re not in your life anymore.  Not all relationships last, but the lessons these relationships bring to you do.  If you learn to open your heart and mind, anyone, including the folks who eventually drive you mad, can teach you something worthwhile.  Sometimes it will feel weird when you realize you spent so much time with someone you are no longer connected to, but that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be.  You are exactly where you’re supposed to be.  We all are. (from the “Relationships” chapter of our book)

5.  “I will not let any situation permanently steal my smile.” – Even when times are tough, take a moment to pause and remember who YOU are.  Take a moment to reflect on the things that have real and lasting meaning in your life.  And then smile about how far you’ve come.  Honestly, nothing in this world is more beautiful and powerful than a smile that has struggled through the tears.  Any fool can be happy when times are easy.  It takes a strong soul with real heart to develop smiles out of situations that make us weep.  No matter how long it takes, it will get better.  Keep going.  Tough situations build strong people in the end.

6.  “I will keep stretching myself beyond my previous level of comfort.” – Just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.  Every great success requires some type of worthy struggle to get there.  Know this!  When you’re struggling, that’s when you’re growing stronger and smarter.  The more time you spend there, the faster you learn.  It’s better to spend an extremely high quality ten minutes growing, than it is to spend a mediocre hour running in place.  Every day, you want to practice at the point where you are on the edge of your ability, stretching yourself over and over again, making mistakes, stumbling, learning from those mistakes and stretching yourself even farther. (
from the “Goals and Success” chapter of our book)
And of course, if you’re struggling with any of these points, know that you are not alone. Many of us are right there with you, working hard to feel better, think more clearly, and live a life free of headaches and heartache. This is precisely why Marc and I wrote our book, “1,000 Little Things Happy Successful People Do Differently.” The book is filled with short, concise tips on how to do just that. And believe it or not, I’m currently in the process of re-visiting and re-reading some of our own material this month, just to centre my mind on these positive principles and keep myself on the right track. If you’re interested in following along with me and making positive changes in your life this Spring, or if you simply want to read (or listen) our book at your leisure.
