Amnesty for latecomers

Quote of the Day:
We need not all agree, but if we disagree, let us not be disagreeable in our disagreements. –Martin R. DeHaan

Amnesty for latecomers

“But what will I tell my neighbours?”

Once someone makes a decision about your cause or your product or your resume, it’s almost impossible for you to persuade them that they were wrong. You’re no longer asking them to remake the first decision, you’re asking them to admit an error, which is a whole other thing.

Compounding this, organizations often make it awkward for someone who is trying to come around to be embraced, largely because the tribe is hurt that they were rejected in the first place.

The opportunity is to encourage the non-supporter to look at new information and make a new decision. Give them the story they need to tell their colleagues. “Well, I know that I always thought this brand was a cult and I said I would never use them, but then I saw their new product line. They’ve listened to all the stuff I said was wrong and fixed it…”   Read the book on “Network Marketing” for a guided route, to your Business decision.

“Set higher standards for your own performance than anyone around you, and it won’t matter whether you have a tough boss or an easy one. It won’t matter whether the competition is pushing you hard, because you’ll be competing with yourself.”  Rick Pitino Basketball Coach, Author and Speaker

Finally accept  and celebrate the newcomers, DO not to bring up their past statements and wave them in their face, otherwise you will alienate them forever from anything, the human race  does not forget easily nor do they move forward without  the support of a partner in business or a loved one.  Seek advice from a Mentor with A Servant’s Heart be prepared to learn and provide for those around you.

It is important to remember that it is your thoughts and feelings together that create with the law of attraction, and you cannot separate them. Also remember that it’s your feelings that are summing up your overall frequency and telling you what you are creating in this moment.   So how are you feeling right now? Could you feel better? Well then, do what it takes right now to feel better.

Dreams do come True Rhonda Byrne

How can you make a big dream come true?

You need to have one secret element, and when you have that secret element, nothing will get in your way. That element is an intense desire! You must desire something with all of your heart to manifest it. Often the difference between those who manifest something and those who do not, is the element of desire. When you have a burning desire for something you ignite a fire within you that attracts with an incredible force. The law of attraction is magnetically drawn to that intense fire element in you, and it responds by gathering all universal forces to make your dream come true.

Very often we ask for things because we think our life will be better with those things, but inside of us we do not have an immense desire for those things. When you don’t feel that immense desire within you, you are receiving guidance telling you that this is not something you really want. That is why it is so important to get clear on what it is that you really want with all of your heart, because what you really want with all of your heart is the very desire that you can manifest quickly.

When your heart is on fire with desire you will attract the right things to do, you will find visualizing so easy, and you will find it is effortless to think positive thoughts of your desire. You will attract all the qualities you need, such as strength, courage, belief, persistence, faith, and a powerful will. An intense desire lights up your being, producing a magnetic force that enables the law of attraction to cut through every physical obstacle for you and make your dream come true.

Go for your dreams! Don’t cheat yourself in your life with petty desires because you don’t think you can live your dream. THE DREAM inside you is the one thing that you have the greatest power to create, because you have an immense desire for it. Find the dream inside you – and make it come true!

Here is the story of an 18-year-old girl – her dream – and her intense desire to make her dream come true.

From Rachael in Indiana

When I was in third grade I told my mother that I wanted to go to the University of Notre Dame. I remember going to meetings at age 13 about what it took to get in – that’s how bad I wanted it. I knew everything it took and used this knowledge to my advantage. Notre Dame will not accept someone merely because they get a good score on the SAT, it takes so much more.

I told everyone I talked to, new friends and old friends, that I would be attending the University of Notre Dame. The response was almost ALWAYS THE SAME: "Wow, isn’t that school hard to get into? Don’t you have to be really smart?" They would wish me good luck in a "you really need it" tone. I never let this sway me.

Before every football game, Notre Dame would play a commercial showing a girl taking "the letter" out of her mailbox. I CRIED EVERY TIME (because I could FEEL – with so much intensity – how I would feel when I came to that day).

When it came time to apply I was more stressed out than I had ever been in my life, but I still continued to tell people that I would be going there. Sometimes a thought would creep into my head saying, "What if I’ve been telling everyone that I’m going there and then I don’t get in?" Every time I’d stop and say, "NO, I will not let myself think these thoughts." And I would continue to imagine and to feel the feelings of coming home and seeing the letter sitting on the table.

On March 28, 2008, I got a call from my step-father telling me that I had to come home, "RIGHT NOW". When I got home I saw the letter and felt every feeling that I had felt previously in my mind – only magnified. The letter said, "Welcome Home".

I have never wanted anything more in my entire life. I have never KNOWN something more intensely. I KNEW that Notre Dame was the place for me, was my home (I guess God, The Universe, knew too).

May the joy be with you,  The Secret & The Power

The Spirit of Christmas

Christmas comes but once a year….

clip_image001If I could share 500 words of wisdom to summarize what I’ve learned so far in life, these are the important things I’d want to pass along to others…

On this beautiful Christmas morning, I wish you peace and love.

May you be blessed with a heart that understands abundance and always have plenty to share with others.

May you be kind to others and experience kindness in return.

May you know that you are not only good enough, but already perfect, just the way you are. May you share compassion, knowing that everyone else is also doing the best they can.

May you trust in the infinite wisdom that is there for all of us, and realize that you are a part of something so much greater than yourself.

When challenges appear, may you remember that you are a human being who can only see a part of the puzzle, and keep the faith that everything will work out in the end. If it hasn’t worked out yet, it’s not the end yet.

May you know deep inside that you are never alone, nor can you ever be alone, for you are an integral thread in this amazing tapestry of life.

May you remember that you are an infinite being with unlimited potential. Find your gift and share it with the world. Focus on what you can do and let go of what you can’t. Celebrate the best part of who you are.

May your heart be warmed by the love of friends and family. May you remember to tell others how much they mean to you. Go hug someone near you and then do it again with someone else. Treasure the love and pass it on.

May you create memories of this season not on how much you spend, but rather on how much you give of yourself to one another.

May you look at the world with childlike innocence and expect the best of others and from yourself.

May you be happy with a heart that overflows with joy and laughter.

Above all, may you remember that love is all that matters. Regardless of your religion, our race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, colour or political affiliation, nothing else is as important as the love we share with one another. We are all connected, we are all one. So, be nice. Be kind. Love one another, for that is the simple message of Christmas.

Share the Spirit of Christmas today, capture the energy of this incredible season, tuck it into your heart and take it with you into the upcoming year. May your life overflow with blessing.

On this beautiful Christmas Day, “I wish you love, and everything you’ve ever dreamed of, and I wish you peace, and everything you’ve ever needed, right here in your hands I pray, this Christmas Day”.

Christmas time is here Again Ho HO HO

Today’s Poem Bah Humbug!

It’s that time of year again I am sorry to say, It’s the run up to Christmas, with the usual affray.

The markets are heaving, The shops they are teeming with buggies and trolleys and open mouthed kids screaming. I’ve gone off kids. The fruit cakes and stollen are all turning stale; It’s several months now that they’ve been on sale.  The cranberries and turkey are all de rigueur. I’m tired of them all and especially liqueurs, And I hate mince pies.  There’s always the cards you’ve forgotten to post.  The family arrive and they’re expecting a roast. And what about presents? So what do they buy? The same things they’ve bought me in years gone by!  I’m sick of bath salts.  So it’s off to the service with Away in A Manger, At least there’s the parents to prevent any danger. Like angelic Rambo, tinsel tied round their heads, the ushers help seats us: we go where we’re led.  It’s packed as usual Then the magic comes back! They give the signal to start.

last ONE Promise, one of my blogs I pout out every year if I can still giggle at it so can the 6,000 + readers???

Sherry Christmas everyone (daily mail poem)

another reminder of the good times we all enjoy Once  a Year!  The problem is it is only once a year,, why not have Christmas all year round as it makes people happy and forget the times we all love to forget,, Enjoy from Sheila Webb Buckinghamshire..

I am sorry but due to issues with my blog it will be as will the other one be going out a few days late… sorry even though I am sure you will enjoy them.  HAPPY NEW YEAR to all;   “READERS are LEADERS”

Santa had a bit of a chill, so the elves knew what to do, Tuck him up and dose him up as Santa had “Man Flu”!    But, sadly, by late December, they were all up against the plight, Of who would deliver the presents on that famous night!

The team of elves looked worried, they had lost their Christmas zest, Until one elf said “ I will drive- I’ve passed my driving test!’  He said delivering presents and calling out Ho! Ho! Ho!   Would be as easy as ABC, and now it was time to go!

They waved to Santa in his bed, with all their sacks on board, the set out on the mission, As to the sky they soared.  Their first delivery came and went, with a mince pie and a sherry, But sadly towards the last house they felt much more than merry!

They hiccupped and giggled to the reindeers’ disgusts But to the finish all their deliveries, Was a Christmas must!  It would have been successful, if the elves had self-control, but all those glasses of sherry had taken a terrible toll.

Being a little ‘light weight’ The sherry went to their heads, until they became completely confused, As to what to leave by each bed.  Young Jimmy who wanted an Ipad,  got a baby doll with a hat, and his sister the ‘little princess’, got knee pads and a bat!

Dad opened up his nightie And if that wasn’t enough, Mum had a book of rugby songs, that made her stand and blush!  The vicar had a mankini, Then looked on in dismay, As his wife opened up her gift- Fifty Shades of Grey!!

so next time Christmas comes around, for presents- rely on yourselves, Not a Hypochondriac Santa, and alcoholic elves
