When you begin to think and grow rich, you will observe that riches begin with a state of mind, with definiteness of purpose, with little or no hard work.- Napoleon Hill
The social media business has really taken hold and expanding a a rapid rate in most Internet Marketing Business campaigns. It is a fact, most of the workload or the bulk of the strategies are implemented through these social media tools and platforms at an alarming rate! There are a lot of businesses have been outsourcing their content work or has hired social media experts just to build the ultimate social network fan page or business page! this is fine for the business that sells on the basis of targets.
The world of Networking Opportunities us social sites too their best advantage but with the person and customer in mind, “Not Targets” as each individual is shown what is on offer and once they are satisfied with the opportunity they either purchase the goods or join for the “Financial Freedom” and the benefits that come with it. A little different to the corporate world of targets and figures.
This is of course, natural and a good tool to use for any business, especially nowadays when one should be doing business marketing online as that is where most people search for something. These internet marketing strategies that one can come up through Facebook, Twitter, blogging channels and the like are the quickest ways to get to people or at least, brand yourself, it is the most cost effective way for the Networker seeking to promote themselves and their company with no advertising costs!
However, “Too much of a good thing is not good” and it does not matter whether you are pertaining to your network marketing business or something else. This quote makes a lot of sense and given that these social platforms are convenient and of course free. There is a tendency to overdo and overuse them! This is where training comes in and unless you chose the right company that offers full training and advice on a “Guide to Networking” you are walking on crushed glass, a lot of pain and not much to show for it
“The real secret to making magic is a bunch of people all working together”. ~Tony Jeary
Can Too Much Social Media Hurt Your Internet Marketing Business?
If a person asks you to name at least 20 social networking sites, how many would you be able to name? The reason why you might be able to name a lot in less than 5 seconds is because you going to be in most of them. It is a fact, especially for those who joined too many expecting a wider audience, often known as “Spamming”. The problem here is you can get lost and lose more prospects that you actually gain, do not forget in network marketing we deal with a person as an individual. Remember the corporate world? they deal in facts and figures not the person or individual!! So consider when connecting to your internet marketing business through these social channels. It can do more harm than good if you do not start small and take on board any training given by your networking company! It is not a bad thing but overdoing it can be harmful to you and your desire to be a winner.
What is the first thing you are going to post to your social sites about your Network Marketing Business
For some of us especially the new person, they will just randomly select an article, content or photo, post them on a certain schedule and then wait for the magic to happen. Others go by their mood for the day and post inspirational quotes or funny ones hoping to get reactions from their followers and their followers’ friends. This is not what it is about, never mind the Corporate world we are talking about real people! Training or learning is something we all have experience in, unless you never went to school or did what your parents told you to do, for your benefit of course!
There is nothing wrong with that, right? Well it depends upon you if you have been posting on schedule everyday, all day! Unfortunately, these random acts of posting will not amount to anything even if you were on every social platform hoping to gather enough internet marketing customers! In fact, it might even be detrimental!
Your network will no longer think you are credible or that knowledgeable of your own business if you just keep on posting random information. Yes, it might be an article based on your networking company or product brand or something that relates to your brand, but when the time comes for you to actually talk about your internet marketing business, you end up at a loss for words or worse, quoting somebody else’s take on it. “Training” is the skill!
Hence the reason why too much social networking can be damaging. This spreads you out too thin and when it’s crunch time, you scramble around trying to fill these platforms with as much information as you can, often sending the same message out to several sites that people are connected too “Spamming”. There are many networking companies that rely on this method, as the old saying goes “Throw enough dirt at the fan and some will stick” not really the best way to promote yourself if you are aiming to be a professional! Never hire someone to do what you should be doing, you may not even know what they might be posting!there mind does not work on the same road you are on and it will cost you.
It would be better to stick with the top three Social networking sites that are appropriate to your needs and networking business.
This makes you more focused and allows you more time to really go through each post, update and content that you share. This makes your goals more realistic. Most importantly, it can help you maintain your goals and objectives.
How do you usually respond to customer reactions or comments?
Most of us love to be in social networks because our networking business and products can get a lot of comments, testimonies and buzz from people who have tried them and those who are willing to try. Remember you are a product of your business therefore your approach to people must be honest and you must be a good listener! We love how easy it is to “Like” a post or “Share” a photo and hopefully, if one is not lucky, but trained in the art of networking it will go viral.
Training done right will bring all you desire, but contact is not only done by responding electronically and indirectly to most of our customers it is by being available. There is nothing wrong with replying to a comment or returning the favour of “likes” and “shares”. However, customer satisfaction goes beyond these and we all know that people would rather talk to a real person than just exchange conversations through keyboards.
The danger with becoming too social is that you become a robot and will lose your sight and goals.
It is always better to have a distinct plan of action when it comes to your internet marketing campaigns through social media. Too much social media exposure can lead to randomness and at the end of the day, if you were to liken your marketing strategy to a vacation, you would rather have a well-planned and thought out day in Bali than go on a plane and just winging it!
There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish. Open-mindedness is essential for belief. Closed minds do not inspire faith, courage, and belief. Napoleon Hill
