Successful Networker Natural Selling Lesson Three

I’m an entrepreneur who is passionate about harnessing the power of personal development and using it to add value to all who seek personal development which leads to an incredible lifestyle.
It has always been my nature to share value and connect people whose talents provide a mutual benefit and then watching the magic unfold. Gray

What is the Purpose of your business

There is a Secret to Getting What You Want.

Asking the right questions can help you get back on the right trackLet’s start by asking you to answer a question. Without intellectualizing it or thinking what you think might be a clever answer, please say out loud the very FIRST thing that comes to your mind…
What’s the Purpose of your business…? Or any business in the world?
Perhaps your answer might be something like, “Make money” or “To make a profit” or “To be fulfilled”.  Or, perhaps your answer was, “To help others” or “To help people  solve their problems.”

Two different answers and two different vibrations or energy.  If your answer was similar to the first one, such as making money, ask yourself this, where is the focus? On you, or the other person? It’s on you and what you want, isn’t it? This is your Personal Agenda or Personal Objective.

Whether you think you can or can’t, either way you are right.” – Henry Ford

The second set?  Your focus is on them! To help them get what they want. This is what is called as coming from a place of Purpose. Two different ways of thinking and two different ways of taking action on that thinking.
PURPOSE AND PERSONAL AGENDA

You want to become aware of your thoughts, you want to choose your thoughts carefully and you want to have fun with this, because you are the masterpiece of your own life.” – Joe Vitale

The reason I ask the question “What is the Purpose of a business?” is to mentally prepare you the Natural Selling Training, because your answer reveals something that is vitally important… your words give you away!!   What do I mean by this?  Well, have you ever thought that your thoughts and words are energy that people directly or indirectly feel? Have you ever thought people consciously and subconsciously feel and know your real intent? That they know whether you are focused on your Personal Agenda, which is about you and what you want, or on your Purpose, which is about helping them get what they want?

Let a person radically alter his thoughts, and he will be astonished at the rapid transformation it will effect in the material conditions of his life. ” Napoleon Hill

To paraphrase an ancient saying…
What come out of your mouth is determined by what goes into your mind“Your words are an extension of your thoughts Your actions are an extension of your words And your habits are an extension of your actions”  What you receive in life, and the way people respond to you, is based on your words, your actions and your habits. And it all starts where? With a thought! Everything starts with a thought. That’s why thoughts are so powerful. That’s why choosing how you think and act will determine how life and people respond to you So back to the original question about the purpose of your business! The questions you have to ask yourself then, is, are you really in business for you, (Personal Agenda) or are you in it for other people (Purpose)? The truth is in the following question;

If your solution cannot solve someone’s problem, is there any reason for them to do business with you? No, there isn’t! So the real purpose of a business then is not about you and what you want, it’s to help other people solve their problems, or get what they want, need or desire. And that is what is behind the first principle of the Natural Selling Approach…

PRINCIPLE 1. NATURAL SELLING IS HELPING OTHER PEOPLE SOLVE THEIR
PROBLEMS.

Believe in yourself and your abilities. That is the only way to attract wonderful things into your life. Don’t waste your time thinking that you cannot do something. Dr. Steve & Frank

To take this further… Another ancient saying says, “When you seek to serve, you ultimately serve yourself!” It’s just a matter of knowing how to do it! And that is precisely what the Natural Selling approach will do for you. It will allow you to effortlessly and easily approach and help others get what they want and ultimately allow you to get what you want without any anxiety in the process of doing so. Now, if you know how to help people solve their problems, and you
can do it with your own solutions, you will achieve what? Your Personal Agenda, which is your own reason for being in business isn’t it?

SELLING AS A PROBLEM SOLVING EXERCISE
Success mean... Zig ZiglarIf the purpose of a business is to help other people solve their problems, you could say that selling is merely a Problem Solving Exercise. Contrary to the conventional approach, it’s not a telling or persuading exercise. It’s all to do with problem solving.   Become a problem solver – look for them. Because with problems comes what? Opportunities! Opportunities for you is to help others get what they want and to be rewarded for it.  Tomorrow we will look closely at how you practically and effortlessly do this by using a powerful approach of communicating called Dialogue. until the next Lesson!
EXERCISES
1. Reflect on how by serving others, you can achieve what it is that you want.
2. Two quotes to think about:
“You can get anything you want if you help enough people get what
they want” – Zig Ziglar
“Help me, Rod, help me to help you!” – Jerry Maguire in the movie
“Jerry Maguire”.

“Let a person radically alter his thoughts, and he will be astonished at the rapid transformation it will effect in the material conditions of his life. ” Napoleon Hill

Successful Networker Life is a Drama of Excitement & Growth it is up to you how!

You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result." Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

Life how you make it so make it; Grand, Magical, Full of Hope and Possibilities.  The choice is yours..

Chose your side of both wheels in lifeHowever, sometimes it’s hard to see how lucky and fortunate we are to be here. We get so caught up in our daily stresses that we completely forget how awe-inspiring and miraculous living really is. We go through the motions, get in a rut and are busy putting out one fire after the next in an attempt to keep our lives in balance.

Yet, drama happens all the time.

All enduring success is founded upon harmonious human relationships.
Most of us are incapable of “going it alone.” Whether it is in our careers, our personal relationships, or in life, we all need others if we are to achieve the level of success we desire. Besides, what’s the point of having it all if we have no one we care about to share it? You may choose to work with others, you may ignore them, or you may choose to work against them, but the greatest successes in life come to those who work harmoniously with others. When your personal goals coincide with those of another, not only does the power of your combined labours benefit you, but such cooperation also creates a synergistic effect that allows you to achieve far more than the simple sum of your individual efforts. Know that friendship freely given and gratefully received is one of life’s greatest gifts. – Napoleon Hill

Our projects don’t work out, our businesses aren’t going the way we had hoped for, our relationships experience troubles, the economy is bad, politicians let us down and life is just not the way it’s supposed to be.

"My philosophy of life is that if we make up our mind what we are going to make of our lives, then work hard toward that goal, we never lose – somehow we win out." Ronald Reagan 40th President of the United States

It’s easy then to get sucked into a spiral of self-doubt and weariness. It’s easy to loose hope, feel listless and ready to just give up.

No matter how long you have had it you still start from scratchSpeaking from experience, I know how destructive these feelings can be and how easily they overshadow your entire world. But if you take a moment to breathe, open your eyes and see, just see, all the marvels of this world, it’s hard not to be speechless, feel grateful and happy to be alive.

Sometimes I know I’m not the only one who lacks inspiration, but with my “Positive Mental Attitude”  I have created the following list of reasons to love being alive, living on this beautiful planet and sharing these times with so many incredible fellows.  Do remember this is one of my many incomplete lists, what is yours?

Ready? Let’s go.

Successful Networker = Prospects V flying by the seat of your pants

RE: Grounding the "seat of your pants" flyers

Give the world the best you have and it will come backIt can be really tiring expensive in time and mind work "flying by the seat of your pants" with each new prospect that comes into your world. Will this one become a client, will that one?

The longer I gain more experience in “Network Marketing the more I realize that I have no idea!    I used to focus on this question a lot though. That’s right, I used to focus on something that was outside of my control. And that is whether or not the prospect would become a client.

We can all be scared over the weight of the phone but I also know that there is that old saying about how insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. I think we should retire that definition and replace it with this one:

Insanity is investing emotional energy trying to control things that are outside of your control.

What this means (according to my own thoughts) is that most of the world is insane.  Make a commitment today to stop "flying by the seat of your pants."
Make a process in your business for prospects to walk through. 15 minutes of critical thinking in this area could save you countless hours of frustration. But you actually have to do it to see the benefit.

Manage the process, observe the outcome. Rinse repeat, enjoy your life.

"Let us not be content to wait and see what will happen, but give us the determination to make the right things happen."Horace Mann 1796-1859, Education Reformer and Politician

Successful Networker Are you looking for the sure thing?

Looking for the sure thing It’s been done before, sorry. It’s never been done before, too risky.

clip_image002It’s too obvious.

It’s too obscure.

It’s too easy, everyone can do it.

It’s too hard to launch, it’ll never work.

Why can’t you get backers?

Too mainstream, the man has polluted you, you sold out.

It’s never been practiced, you’ll do it wrong.

You’ve practiced it too much, it can’t possibly be fresh.

clip_image004Not here, this city/market/audience is too jaded.

Not here, this city/market/audience is untested. The market has peaked, nothing goes up forever.

The market is dead, it’ll never catch on… Most bestsellers are surprise bestsellers, because there’s no sure thing, at least not where we want to look for it.

Successful Networker Inspiration your view

Your own mental attitude is your real boss.

While your time and your labour may be subject to the demands of your employer and others, your mind is the one thing that cannot be controlled by anyone but you. The thoughts you think, your attitude toward your job, and what you are willing to give in exchange for the compensation you are paid are entirely up to you. It is up to you to determine whether you will be a slave to a negative attitude or the master of a positive one. Your attitude, your only master in life, is entirely within your control. When you control your attitude toward events, you control the eventual implication of those events. – Napoleon Hill

What does an Inspired Life look like?

Just believe in your dreamsYou are living an Inspired Life when you are consistently joyful, compassionate, loving, and thankful to be exactly who you are, regardless of external events and circumstances. You no longer suffer from blame, disappointment, and worry. You appreciate the distinction between events and your feelings about those events, and you are consistently able to choose a joyful interpretation of events.

If I’m living an Inspired Life, can I still break a leg? Unfortunately, yes. An Inspired Life is about choosing your response to physical events rather than about changing those events.

Have you heard the ancient story of the blind men and the elephant? One man touched the elephant’s leg and concluded that the leg was the elephant. One touched the trunk and concluded that the trunk was the elephant. One touched the tail, and concluded that the tail was the elephant. Others touched other parts, and each concluded that the part he touched was the elephant.

Each blind man touched the part of the elephant that was nearest to him and assumed that he had learned the nature of the elephant.

Like the blind men, we touch some part of life and assume it to be the entire nature of life. We look at life from the perspective of our heritage, our community, and our experience and we assume we fully appreciate all of life.

We invite you to challenge your perspectives and your belief systems—whatever they are. Together, we will create a little crack in your assumptions and expectations of life, allowing light to shine through.

“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” ~Helen Keller
