How often do I hear and read these phrases? A lot.  More often than not, they’re used out of naiveté rather than with any intent to make the up line feel superior or the down line feel inferior.  But we’ve got to be constantly aware of what comes out of our mouths.

We’re offering people the chance to break free of the 40-hour (and more!) work week chains of working for someone else, yet using language like this can very quickly make our team members feel like they’ve swapped, or are in the process of swapping, one boss for another.

On that note, we cannot force any of our team members to work harder either – they’re a ‘volunteer army’ and are free to do as little or as much as they want, to fit around their own unique lifestyle, and in line with what THEY want from their business.

Now, don’t get me wrong, if someone’s activity is not congruent with the goals they have set themselves, then we need to bring this to their attention and some course-correcting needs doing, but ultimately we have to firstly be GRATEFUL that they’re part of our team, and secondly RESPECT the level they want to work at.

Successful Networker Your Goals and Dreams

How can you make a big dream come true? 

You need to have one secret element, and when you have that secret element, nothing will get in your way. That element is an intense desire! You must desire something with all of your heart to manifest it. Often the difference between those who manifest something and those who do not, is the element of desire. When you have a burning desire for something you ignite a fire within you that attracts with an incredible force. The law of attraction is magnetically drawn to that intense fire element in you, and it responds by gathering all universal forces to make your dream come true.  

Very often we ask for things because we think our life will be better with those things, but inside of us we do not have an immense desire for those things. When you don’t feel that immense desire within you, you are receiving guidance telling you that this is not something you really want. That is why it is so important to get clear on what it is that you really want with all of your heart, because what you really want with all of your heart is the very desire that you can manifest quickly. 

When your heart is on fire with desire you will attract the right things to do, you will find visualizing so easy, and you will find it is effortless to think positive thoughts of your desire. You will attract all the qualities you need, such as strength, courage, belief, persistence, faith, and a powerful will. An intense desire lights up your being, producing a magnetic force that enables the law of attraction to cut through every physical obstacle for you and make your dream come true.   

Go for your dreams! Don’t cheat yourself in your life with petty desires because you don’t think you can live your dream. THE DREAM inside you is the one thing that you have the greatest power to create, because you have an immense desire for it. Do you have any goals?  Not just dreams, but real goals?

You should actually have both.  As Napoleon Hill said, “A goal is a dream with a deadline”.  The starting point is therefore a dream.  You must always dream, or eventually you will run out of goals.

Goals allow you to change the direction in your favourSome people feel that dreaming is a waste of time and energy.  The term “daydream” is used more often than not as a criticism.  But dreaming is most definitely NOT a waste of time and energy, it is something you must keep doing.  Not all the time, of course!  You don’t want to spend all your time just dreaming, or you will never achieve anything.  But make sure you spend enough time dreaming to have a good supply of goals to achieve, or you will again never achieve anything.  You need to have the right balance between the two.

In my experience far too many people leave out this first step.  As a result they find they have no real goals, and wonder why life seems to have become more of a “grind” than a joyful experience.

Dreams express what your soul is telling you let it outHaving dreams is a creative activity.  Turning those dreams into goals is a practical activity.  To use “Right Brain – Left Brain” terminology, the start of the process, having dreams, is a “Right Brain” activity and turning dreams into goals is a “Left Brain” activity.  You should be aware, though, that the concept of your right and left hemispheres of your brain having radically different functions is regarded by psychologists as a myth.  Psychologists say that both hemispheres work together to achieve most tasks. But perhaps another way of looking at that is the same as I am saying here – you NEED both hemispheres to be working together; you NEED both the creativity and practicality.

Dreamers
In planning to acquire your share of the riches, let no one influence you to scorn the dreamer. Napoleon Hill

If you sometimes find life a bit boring I suggest you start by checking to see if you have forgotten to keep dreaming.  If you have, that is your problem.  Start creating those dreams again.  Don’t worry about the fact that you cannot yet see how some of those dreams will be achieved.  Give the Universe more credit than that.  It has enormous power and that power can be harnessed to turn your dreams into reality – but only if you have those dreams in the first place!

Getting in touch with your inner child that wants to keep dreaming is therefore an extremely important step.  Don’t allow the adult in your to squash that inner child!

Goals that are not written down are just wishesOnce you have made sure the flow of dreams is there you can move on to the next step – turning some of them into goals.  Notice I have said “some of them”.  Do not try to turn them all into goals!  That is actually one way of eventually turning off the flow of dreams.  You will find many dreams cannot yet be turned into goals, and unless you watch what is happening carefully the “adult” in you will react by telling the “child” in you to stop producing dreams it cannot turn into reality.  The “child” will then follow those instructions, and the wonderful flow of dreams will diminish and eventually stop altogether.  But some of them MUST be turned into goals if you are ever going to achieve anything.  Turn them into goals by selecting the ones that most resonate with you and try to create some deadlines.  Those deadlines may be far in the future.  If they are, break down the dreams into smaller tasks which lead to achieving the ultimate dream, and apply deadlines for the first steps.

Individuals with positive mental attitudes are never found in a rut.
Individuals with a positive attitude are those who somehow always manage to find something new and interesting even in the most mundane tasks. They don’t allow themselves to be bored, because they are always seeking ways to do things faster, better, and more efficiently. If you make it a practice to find better ways to do the same old things, you will soon be marked for advancement. You will be supervising others who are performing your old job because you’ve proven that you are a person who can be counted on to take the initiative and do what needs to be done without being told. Napoleon Hill

There is plenty of help online which you can tap into in order to follow both of these principles – dream more, and create more goals.  Make sure you DO tap into it, and your life will be far more exciting and far more productive.

What is the Purpose of your business

There is a Secret to Getting What You Want.

Asking the right questions can help you get back on the right trackLet’s start by asking you to answer a question. Without intellectualizing it or thinking what you think might be a clever answer, please say out loud the very FIRST thing that comes to your mind…
What’s the Purpose of your business…? Or any business in the world?
Perhaps your answer might be something like, “Make money” or “To make a profit” or “To be fulfilled”.  Or, perhaps your answer was, “To help others” or “To help people  solve their problems.”

Two different answers and two different vibrations or energy.  If your answer was similar to the first one, such as making money, ask yourself this, where is the focus? On you, or the other person? It’s on you and what you want, isn’t it? This is your Personal Agenda or Personal Objective.

Whether you think you can or can’t, either way you are right.” – Henry Ford

The second set?  Your focus is on them! To help them get what they want. This is what is called as coming from a place of Purpose. Two different ways of thinking and two different ways of taking action on that thinking.
PURPOSE AND PERSONAL AGENDA

The reason I ask the question “What is the Purpose of a business?” is to mentally prepare you the Natural Selling Training, because your answer reveals something that is vitally important… your words give you away!!   What do I mean by this?  Well, have you ever thought that your thoughts and words are energy that people directly or indirectly feel? Have you ever thought people consciously and subconsciously feel and know your real intent? That they know whether you are focused on your Personal Agenda, which is about you and what you want, or on your Purpose, which is about helping them get what they want?

To paraphrase an ancient saying…
What come out of your mouth is determined by what goes into your mind“Your words are an extension of your thoughts Your actions are an extension of your words And your habits are an extension of your actions”  What you receive in life, and the way people respond to you, is based on your words, your actions and your habits. And it all starts where? With a thought! Everything starts with a thought. That’s why thoughts are so powerful. That’s why choosing how you think and act will determine how life and people respond to you So back to the original question about the purpose of your business! The questions you have to ask yourself then, is, are you really in business for you, (Personal Agenda) or are you in it for other people (Purpose)? The truth is in the following question;

If your solution cannot solve someone’s problem, is there any reason for them to do business with you? No, there isn’t! So the real purpose of a business then is not about you and what you want, it’s to help other people solve their problems, or get what they want, need or desire. And that is what is behind the first principle of the Natural Selling Approach…

PRINCIPLE 1. NATURAL SELLING IS HELPING OTHER PEOPLE SOLVE THEIR
PROBLEMS.

Believe in yourself and your abilities. That is the only way to attract wonderful things into your life. Don’t waste your time thinking that you cannot do something. Dr. Steve & Frank

To take this further… Another ancient saying says, “When you seek to serve, you ultimately serve yourself!” It’s just a matter of knowing how to do it! And that is precisely what the Natural Selling approach will do for you. It will allow you to effortlessly and easily approach and help others get what they want and ultimately allow you to get what you want without any anxiety in the process of doing so. Now, if you know how to help people solve their problems, and you
can do it with your own solutions, you will achieve what? Your Personal Agenda, which is your own reason for being in business isn’t it?

SELLING AS A PROBLEM SOLVING EXERCISE
Success mean...  Zig ZiglarIf the purpose of a business is to help other people solve their problems, you could say that selling is merely a Problem Solving Exercise. Contrary to the conventional approach, it’s not a telling or persuading exercise. It’s all to do with problem solving.   Become a problem solver – look for them. Because with problems comes what? Opportunities! Opportunities for you is to help others get what they want and to be rewarded for it.  Tomorrow we will look closely at how you practically and effortlessly do this by using a powerful approach of communicating called Dialogue. until the next Lesson!

The Importance of Starting Out the Correct Way

How were the exercises yesterday? Remember, by doing the exercises you will improve your understanding of the material that is covered with you.

Today, we are going to talk about how to build your business using timeless principles that will achieve lasting results.

Principles

People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but not how you made them feelImagine knowing how to talk with anyone, anywhere and at anytime about your business, never having to say much about who you are or what you’re doing, unless you are asked, and during the dialogue find out:

1. Precisely where the other person is coming from; what they have, what they want, what’s stopping them from getting it and how they feel about it?

2. The depth of their desire to change their present situation.

And then, having discovered that, knowing precisely what to say that will inspire them to look at your products or income opportunity?

If you could do that do you think talking with people, making and returning calls would be fun and anxiety free?

And what do you think would happen to your business? It would soar wouldn’t it?

Well, you can do this! You can do anything! It’s simply a matter of;

1. How you think

2. How you talk with people, using a way of communicating that resonates with you, your inner truth and with others.

How You Think and Communicate

How people treat other people is a direct reflection of how they treat themselvesBy observing and if necessary, changing two things – the way you think and the way you communicate – you can achieve the success you’re looking for without the anxiety normally associated with selling. You can bring harmony into your life, and the lives of others in a way that assures every conversation you have will end with something positive.

It could be an agreement to partner or become a customer, an agreement to continue the conversation later or perhaps just a conversation that leaves the other person and you feeling good about each other. This is what we mean when we talk about every conversation being anxiety free and having a successful outcome.

The Natural Selling Approach was designed to achieve this outcome for you and to overcome the problems of rejection and objections we discussed in lesson #1.

You are receiving thousands of messages from the Universe every single day. Learn to become aware of this communication from the Universe, who is speaking to you and guiding you in every moment. There are no accidents and no coincidences. Every sign you notice, every word you hear spoken, every colour, every scent, every sound, every event and situation is the Universe speaking to you, and you are the only one who knows their relevance to you, and what the communication is saying.   Use your eyes to see! Techniques versus Principles

The Natural Selling Approach is not about techniques or a new age thing that only fits the times of today. It’s a way of communicating that’s been with us for a long time and will stay with us forever. It goes beyond selling – it’s the essence of building relationships. It’s where the R word "Rejection" is replaced by "Relationship".

Techniques in communication can be transient. They can work for one person and not another, or in one situation but not a different one.

On the other hand, methods based on principle-based communication can be transferred and will work in all situations. The following poem illustrates the point:

Techniques will vary, Principles never do!"

Selling is to Serve – to Help – to Exchange

Unlike the modern way or conventional selling practices of Selling by Persuasion, if you were to look in the old English dictionaries you’ll find that the definition of selling was "To Serve" and "To Exchange".

 This is the Natural Selling Approach! Instead of trying to persuade others to do what you want them to, the Natural Selling Approach is an approach that allows you to help and serve others in a way that allows them to motivate themselves to change their present situation!

For the rest of this course, we will be looking at the principles and philosophy of the "Natural Selling" and how you can put the concept of "Selling is to Serve" into practice.

The next lesson we will look at the first principle which covers the purpose of your business.

Exercises

1. Think about a technique that you might have been taught or heard about.

It might be a "close", for example. Review how this has worked in practice and if it might have worked in some circumstances and not others.

2. Do purchase if you do not already have this book  by Stephen Covey’s "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" review the chapter "Inside Out" where he talks about the "Personality" and "Character" ethics. Also, pay close attention to Habit 5 "Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood".

You can most certainly help others through your thoughts, and they can help you. Every good thought you send to another is a living force. However, the person you are sending the thought to has to be asking for the same thing you are sending. If the person does not want it, then they are not in harmony with your thought frequency, and it will not penetrate them.
