Savoring The Journey And The Destiny

PMA ADDED only:

The secret of accomplishment is concentration, or the art of turning all your power upon just one point at a time.

If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…Over the course of my lifetime there have been many dark moments – moments of trauma, drama, tragedy and unclarity. In the depths of the dark night of the soul experiences that sometimes have lasted for several years I have found myself again and again on my knees in some way reaching out for support, guidance and a way home to peace and harmony.

I’ve been advised to stay focused on the journey -it’s about the journey and not the destination. I’ve been encouraged to focus on what’s good in the moment – truth is that there are moments where it’s a mighty task to focus on the good!

I’ve also been guided to invoke the vision or dream of where I’m going – only focus attention and intention on what I’m creating and continue to work towards that goal with the understanding that whatever is happening in the moment is going to be juicy fodder for the manifestation of that ultimate destiny.

I want to encourage you instead to focus on the AND – both the Journey AND the Destiny.

The Journey for me is the place where we are receiving in the present moment all the information, guidance, gifts, blessings, experiences, lessons, and moments that make up the book of our life.

The Destiny of course is the end game – the life WELL lived – the dreams manifested, the visions achieved. A life well lived is one where you have surrendered to being made love to by life itself – those tender moments of pleasure, those sharp piercing moments of pain, culminating in a climactic orgasmic experience that brings us to a state of pure bliss and unification with the Divine.

Remember to breathe in the beauty.

Remember to invoke your vision in those moments when it seems all is lost – that dream destination provides the motivation to keep moving forward through the darkest of days.

Remember to harvest the golden nuggets of wisdom and truth from those challenging experiences on the journey.

Remember to see each day at least one thing you can be grateful for – even if it’s just that you are breathing.

Remember to create time and space for yourself – to disengage, notice and allow whatever is to be as it is and to examine what it is that YOU really want and how you want to spend your life force.

Remember to look for the angels who will come along your path at the most unusual of moments to support, love and assist you when you least expect it and acknowledge and recognize their loving ministrations with gratitude.

Remember to share your gifts with others and be an angel for those who are not quite as far along on the journey as you are.

Remember to love life and let life make love to you – it’s an orgasmic experience if only you will truly surrender to it!

Journey Joyfully – AND Enjoy the Destination.

Every day, God gives us the sun – and also one moment in which we have the ability to change everything. Paulo Coelho

How to Recharge your Motivation

“Set a goal to achieve something that is so big, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares you at the same time. It must be a goal that is so appealing, so much in line with your spiritual core, that you can’t get it out of your mind. If you do not get chills when you set a goal, your not setting big enough goals.” Bob Proctor

How to Recharge Your Motivation

Sometimes, when you have so many items on your to-do list, getting anything important accomplished becomes daunting. All the menial tasks start to take up the majority of your time and, before you know it, the important things fall by the wayside. Finding the motivation to continue pursuing the things that really matter to you is not something you can just do once. Staying motivated requires taking the time to occasionally re-focus your thoughts and priorities, outline your goals, and do things that help you feel inspired and creative! The practice of recharging your motivation will help you follow through on your goals and make real progress in your life.

Re-examine your focus

Take a minute to reflect on how you currently spend your time. Sometimes, without realizing it, we can get stuck spending too much time on things that aren’t the most important to us. What are your main priorities and goals in life? I have four main commitments in my life that stem from different categories. Each day I try to spend time with my family, working, exercising, and being spiritual. Too frequently, I notice that one area has started to slip and I again need to revisit how I spend my time and allocate more or less time to certain areas.

Get inspired

When you have a big goal that might take some time to accomplish, it’s important to continue to inspire yourself. Spend time in environments that help you feel creative and motivated! Whether you feel inspired walking around the city, getting lost in the library, spending a day at the beach or in the mountains, or even just

talking with people who have accomplished what you’re striving for, make sure you spend time inspiring and motivating yourself to continue pursuing your goals.

Create an end goal

If you’ve noticed that you’ve been less motivated to achieve one of your goals or stick to a priority in your life, figure out what motivates you in that area. For some people, they need to have an “end” in their mind, something to work towards. For example, if you’re a runner, but you can’t find the motivation to hit the trail, you might consider signing up for a race in 3-6 months. With the end goal of the race, you’ll be more motivated to get up and run each day. Whatever your goal is, find something that motivates you to continue working toward it.

Examine your progress

When you’re working toward a goal, a great motivator can be to examine how far you’ve already come. If your goal is to be fluent in Spanish, reflect on how much you’ve learned so far. Maybe now you can have a small conversation in Spanish and understand even more. Take notes of your progress and track how much you’ve improved. The ability to track your progress will help you see that all your hard work is paying off and inspire you to continue.

“Of course motivation is not permanent. But then, neither is bathing; but it is something you should do on a regular basis.” – Zig Ziglar

When weeds come up in your garden, it does no good to say, ‘There are no weeds, there are no weeds, there are no weeds…’ It doesn’t help to pretend they’re not there. It doesn’t matter how much you focus on the beautiful plants that are growing. The weeds aren’t going to disappear until you get on your hands and knees and pull them out. – In your own life, you can’t just ‘focus on the positive, focus on the positive, focus on the positive’, and expect your problems to go away. If there are some weeds, you have to deal with them.”    Bob Proctor

SIMPLICITY

Enjoy and embrace simplicity.

Luke SniewskiNo, that doesn’t mean poverty. Nor is that the polar opposite of wealth. Living simply is experiencing and appreciating the small things in life that are taken for granted by those constantly looking outside of themselves for happiness.

Real happiness will never be found in a pill, television, car, or iPod. This materialistic view will result in a never-ending pursuit of “things” that never quite fill the hole trying to be filled. In fact, it only grows with the more “things” you acquire. Instead, the key to happiness is found by satisfying the needs that should be natural and commonplace for all of mankind.

HEALTH

The things that make us human are the very same things that are lacking in the lives of those lost in their world of materialism. The first of these qualities is optimal health. Most of us are born with all the potential in to world to be healthy and happy. Yet in our quest for financial freedom, we get lost in the rat race. We neglect and sacrifice our own health for a few bucks. In the end, we are the ones that suffer with increased medical costs and, worse yet, a decreased quality of life.

There is an old saying that “he who dies with the most toys wins”. That statement could not be farther from the truth. Your health is all you have. Every time you avoid fast foods and choose wholesome natural foods, you are investing in yourself and your future. When you choose to exercise instead of playing video games, you circulate life-providing blood, oxygen, and nutrients throughout your body.

Nothing pays higher dividends than the healthy lifestyles that provide the nourishment you need to function at optimal levels. In order to enjoy the toys you do acquire during this lifetime, make sure you live long enough to truly enjoy them.

RELATIONSHIPS

The need to connect is so obvious when you see the popularity of social networking websites. There is a valuable lesson to be learned here. Help and support your community and they will support you. Living in fear inside four walls and a ceiling, you will miss out on so much growth and support available to you. A stranger is only a friend you’ve yet to meet. When you find your family, friends, and people, live for them.

A positive mental attitude is an irresistible force that knows no such thing as an immovable body.
Time and again we hear stories about ordinary people who do seemingly impossible things when they find themselves in an emergency situation. They perform Herculean feats of strength and endurance, things they never dreamed they were capable of doing. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could harness that strength and make it available anytime you need it? You can — if you believe you can. No doubt you can remember a time in your life when you were exceptionally focused on your objective, a time when you achieved more in less time than ever before. Perhaps it was an impending vacation that motivated you to get everything done before you departed, or perhaps it was a “must pass” exam that helped you focus your concentration. The intensity that you developed in those situations is always available to you when you have a Positive Mental Attitude. – Napoleon Hill

4 Ways to Manage Workplace Stress

Workers seem more and more stressed every day.

  • Technology has created expectation of an immediate response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • Short-term thinking and planning based on the focus of quarterly stock reports has increased the sense of importance for every project. We feel everything is an urgent priority needing instant attention.
  • The “doing more with less” mentality has increased the amount of our responsibilities and what is expected of us. This has created a culture of inefficient multi-tasking.

Below are four ways you can reduce the amount of stress you feel at work.

Manage Your Electronics: Do not be a prisoner of your electronics. Control how you use them versus reacting to them in the moment. When the communication pops up, you stop what you are doing, you read the email, and you say oh it’s not urgent, and you go back to your project and then another email pops up and you do the same thing. This is an amazing waste of time and focus. Turn off notifications for your email, texts and social media. Instead carve out time slots during the day to check communications. To help others manage their expectations of your reaction time, you can add an automated response to your email such as “I will get to your email in 24 hours.”

Managing Communications: When you do open your email, open it only once and act upon it in that moment. Choose to either Do, Delegate, Delay, or Delete.

  • Do: Respond and complete the request in that moment.
  • Delegate: Is this the highest and best use of your time?  Is there someone stress at workelse you can delegate this to?  Is there an automated system you can put in place to handle a specific type of email?
  • Delay: If the email does not need to be handled right now, but it does need to be done by you, add a reminder to come back to it. Don’t just leave it in your inbox as you may then open it again in the future only to delay it again. Colour code the email as a “future” and set up a follow-up reminder.
  • Delete: Does this need to be done at all? Is there really anything you need to address with it? If you find you are constantly deleting emails from certain sources, you may want to unsubscribe from the list or remove yourself from the project.

Change Your Relationship with Time: When I was working my 9 to 5 job, I would wake up in the morning and immediately go through my to-do list and what I had planned for the day. The result was feeling behind the eight-ball before I even left bed. One of the ways to release time’s hold on you is before you get out of bed say, “I have more than enough time today to accomplish everything that I need to do.” Just making that statement changes your outlook on the day. This reframe empowers you to deal with the day differently.

Simplify and Focus: Often our stress comes from creating unrealistic expectations. There are only a certain hours in the day. Manage what you expect to accomplish by having a list of absolute must-do’s for the day; not more than 3 per day. Make sure you have enough time to accomplish these tasks. I determine what I am going to focus on for the day by having a realistic list of projects I want to accomplish for the week. Remember to focus only on your daily to-do’s. If you focus on the week’s goals it can be overwhelming. Focus solely on the obtainable items for that particular day.

What is the answer to every difficult circumstance in life?

Take the positive path.

Choosing the positive path can be easy at some times in our life and more difficult at other times. When everything is going along well, when we are on a roll, choosing the positive path just flows through us as an easy, natural choice. When something negative comes along it can be far more challenging for us to choose the positive path. But choose it we must! No matter how challenging the negativity may be, there is simply no other way to bring our lives back into positivity.

If negative situations appear, you must use your will and refuse to lower yourself to negative thoughts, words, actions, and emotions. Use your will and decide that not only will you focus on the positive, but you will ramp up the positive in every thought, word, and action of your day.

It takes determination, strength, faith, and the power of your will to focus on the positive when intense negativity descends, but remember, that the Universe and the law of attraction are with you. As you focus on the positive, focus more on the positive, think of the positive, speak of the positive, and take positive and good actions, the law of attraction will give your life wings. Suddenly you will look around you and you will find that the negativity has gone, and that your life has been filled with goodness and joy.          Rhonda Byrne The Secret

Awaken Your Inner Possibility

Topics: Life Lessons, Possibility, Trust

Panache DesaiIf I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

Walk softly upon the earth knowing that truth can only be experienced in silence. In soulful spaciousness, questions are answered, and possibility unfolds.

See divinity in all that you meet, recognizing the light of the creator in all that you see. We are all connected. We are all one.

Recognize that in knowing others, you are in truth being given an opportunity to know yourself.

Even the most hurtful and vicious of them is you and by extending a loving hand, you are gathering up the discarded parts of your humanity.

Marvel in your uniqueness and recognize it as a blessing. In the absence of all that you deem deficient about yourself, you would be rendered unable to bring your true purpose into being.

The Divine wants you to know that you are beautiful. You are perfectly formed. You are enough.

Speak the life-altering truth that you’ve incarnated to share and know that as scary as it may be, in uttering it, you will set yourself and others free.

Above all else, be yourself. Trust that your unique expression is all that is required.

Fame and fortune are fleeting. A life lived for praise and admiration will always be mired by criticism and blame. Recognition and money do not make you more than the divine being you already are.

Take only what is yours and leave the rest. A million dollars earned out of harmony with your soul will give you a million moments of sorrow.

Know that love is real. Love exists. Love has always existed. It existed before there was an earth. Before there were galaxies. Before anything, we know as life came into being. Love is an infinite ocean in which you swim. It is the air we breathe. It permeates every particle, every molecule, and every single aspect of our experience.

If we cannot trace love back to its beginnings, then surely we know that love never ends.

This is the one constant, never-changing truth of life itself: Love dwells within you. Around you. For you. Through you. Ever-present, available, accessible. It is your guiding principle. Once true love has touched your heart, all that is earthly will pale in significance.

Your life is God’s gift to this world.

Rest in the truth of this and allow it to anchor your heart in peace.

A most beneficial use of time is silent meditation, while searching for guidance from within.
We all experience rare moments when a blinding revelation comes to us, when we suddenly see things differently than ever before. Usually, however, we learn the truth about ourselves gradually, over long periods of time, from quiet introspection. We are all spiritual, but some of us have learned to tap more effectively into the great strength that resides in the spiritual portion of ourselves. The spirit is not boisterous and noisy. Getting in touch with your spiritual self demands tranquillity and solitude. Make sure you dedicate a portion of every day to thought and study, to think and reflect upon your life. Choose a time and place that best allow you to relax your mind and devote your thoughts to reflection. Napoleon Hill
