Don’t Just Be Spiritual, DO Spiritual

“We all have the capability to make a difference, to accept what we are given, to love with our heart and live life to the fullest, or not: it’s up to us.”  – Tracy Goodwin

Topics: Balance, Love, Peace, Spirituality If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important  wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…Sean Patrick

Are you what people call a “spiritual” person? I think I am – I like to meditate, say affirmations, drink herbal tea and pray. However, I also like to dance to hip hop music, drink coffee and keep up with the Kardashians.

You see, if you’re anything like me, you’re a spiritual seeker in a modern world, carrying a yoga mat in one hand and a vanilla latte in the other. You may find it challenging to balance your joy-seeking side with your human side, however, the good news is that we don’t have to choose between our spiritual selves and our human selves, we just have to choose between what brings us joy and what brings us misery.

I believe that being spiritual is not just something that you are, it’s something you do. It’s a moment-by-moment choice to keep peace as your only intention and love as your only action. It is to become unbound by the thoughts that cause you to judge and the emotions that cause you to hurt.

It is common for us to get caught up in wanting to look like a spiritual person, read the right books, say the right words and sit cross-legged whilst we meditate. We can often get so distracted with how we think things are supposed to look that we forget to see the beauty in the coffee cup in our hands and remember that the Universe is always placing us exactly we are meant to be. We can discard our trip to the coffee shop as a spiritual experience because we think that it is far too ordinary, but that’s the thing about the Universe – it often disguises the most beautiful things in what we call mundane.

We live in a modern, fast-paced world and there is no reason why we can’t be spiritual on the go. There is a check-list that I like to complete as often as I can that helps me remain phenomenally grateful for mundane things and keep my spiritual cap on when faced with situations that are challenging to me….

Thank the Universe for the fact I woke up [check]
Give thanks for the bed that kept me comfortable all night [check]
Meditate a.k.a. Prepare my mind for miracles [check]
Send love to somebody… just coz I can [check]
Be gentle with myself and remember how far I’ve already come [check]
And then I say this prayer: ‘Dear Universe, I do not know what is best for me today so I leave the blessings in your hands.’

So, when you’ve finally done all that you can do, when you’ve read every self-help book that you can read, when you’ve just about hurt all that you can hurt, when you’ve given everything you’ve gotten and when you’re tired of controlling situation after situation… let go and turn inward. Your treasure was there all along (whether you’ve sat cross-legged or not)!

Take a look at your life and be grateful

”Today is a brand new day. A fresh start. Replace any negativity with positivity. Think happy thoughts. Exercise. Drink lots of water. Fill your body with fuel. Healthy is happy. Inspire yourself. Create. Laugh. Play. Love. Learn. Give someone a compliment. Make a new friend. Do a random act of kindness. It creates good karma. Take chances and finally start living life to its fullest. But no matter what’s thrown at you today, smile and remember, tomorrow’s always a fresh new start.” – Unknown

Over the course of my – your and anyone’s  lifetime there will have been many dark moments – moments of trauma, drama, tragedy and un-clarity. In the depths of the dark night of the soul experiences that sometimes can seem to last for several years; One can find themselves, again and again on ones knees in some way reaching out for support, guidance and a way home to peace and harmony.  Does this sound like you or anyone you know?

In my own personal life I have been advised to stay focused on the journey, admittedly I give myself these thoughts and A year from now you would wish you had started todaycomments as a youngster many years ago it was rare for anyone to be positive!! (how times change), as a child I was the oldest of 6 boys, anything they did wrong it was my fault…that’s that on the subject!!   It is more about the journey and not the destination. I have been “Self encouraging” to focus on what’s good in the moment, difficult or not the truth is that there are moments where it’s a mighty task to focus on the good!  I am not alone here am I?   I can and will feel better as many people are worse off than myself.

A positive mental attitude is an irresistible force that knows no such thing as an immovable body.
Time and again we hear stories about ordinary people who do seemingly impossible things when they find themselves in an emergency situation. They perform Herculean feats of strength and endurance, things they never dreamed they were capable of doing. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could harness that strength and make it available anytime you need it? You can — if you believe you can. No doubt you can remember a time in your life when you were exceptionally focused on your objective, a time when you achieved more in less time than ever before. Perhaps it was an impending vacation that motivated you to get everything done before you departed, or perhaps it was a “must pass” exam that helped you focus your concentration. The intensity that you developed in those situations is always available to you when you have a Positive Mental Attitude. – Napoleon Hill

I have read a lot of “Positive Mental Attitude” books through my busy life giving me the guidance needed to invoke the vision, strength or dreams of where I am going and what I want to be or do! Focus on your attention and intentions on what you are creating and continue to work towards that goal with the understanding that whatever is happening in the moment; it is going to be a wonderful fantastic positive feeling for the manifestation of that ultimate destiny.

Giving opens up the door to receiving. You have so many opportunities to give every day.                                                         Give kind words. Give a smile. Give appreciation and love. Give compliments. You can give courtesy to other motorists while you are driving. You can give a smile to the car parking attendant. You can give a warm greeting to the newspaper stand person or the person who makes your coffee. You can give by allowing a stranger to go ahead of you into an elevator, and you can give by asking which floor they are going to and pressing the button for them. If someone drops something you can give a helping hand and pick it up for them. You can give warm embraces to those you love. And you can give appreciation and encouragement to everyone. There are so many opportunities for you to give and thereby open the door to receiving.  May the joy be with you, Rhonda Byrne

I want to encourage you instead to focus on “BOTH” the Journey “and” the Destiny.  The Journey for anyone not just me is the place where we are receiving in the present moment all the information, guidance, gifts, blessings, experiences, lessons, and moments that make up the book of our life.

The Destiny of course is the end game – the life “well Lived”  Faith is what makes life bearable with all its tragediesthe dreams manifested, the visions achieved. A life well lived is one where you have surrendered to being made love to by life itself – those tender moments of pleasure, those sharp piercing moments of pain, culminating in a climactic orgasmic experience that brings us to a state of pure bliss and unification with the Divine.

”The moment you’re ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. Don’t give up!”

Remember to breathe in the beauty, invoke your vision in those moments when it seems all is lost – that dream destination provides the motivation to keep moving forward through the darkest of days.   “SMILE

Remember to harvest the golden nuggets of wisdom and truth from those challenging experiences on the journey.

Remember to see each day at least one thing you can be grateful for – even if it’s just that you are breathing.

Remember to create time and space for yourself to disengage, Carry out a random act of kindness with no expectation of rewardnotice and allow whatever is to be as it is and to examine what it is that YOU really want and how you want to spend your life force.   Always Always be thankful and grateful no matter what as you have no idea how the person is walking past you at the time.

Remember to look for the angels who will come along your path at the most unusual of moments to support, love and assist you when you least expect it and acknowledge and recognize their loving ministrations with gratitude.

Connecting with people is an incredible skill as you connect first in their world because that is where they live their lives and where their interests and values lie

Remember to share your gifts with others and be an angel for those who are not quite as far along on the journey as you are. I feel this is more important than myself, one can gain everything by helping others achieve their aims goals or targets no matter who what or when!!

You never know when one kind act can change a person for everRemember to love life and let life make love to you – it’s an orgasmic experience if only you will truly surrender to it!  Loving life will be seen by others it is a gift to involuntarily passing on those feelings unknowingly..  it is also called “The power to change another persons life”

Enjoy the Journey the Destination, most of all be Grateful..

Hi Gray

It was nice chatting with you today.  A brief Club history is attached, which is also on our club website http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/birchwoodcoltsjfc/Home.  We are always looking for sponsorship for playing kits, hoodies, waterproofs and equipment for our teams. The team plays in the Mid Lincs Youth League and in the summer the team also enters various five a side competitions, which will take them            (and their sponsors logo) all over Lincolnshire and into parts of Nottinghamshire. The sponsored sportswear will usually last for between 2 to 3 years. Sponsors will also be promoted on our club website with links to the sponsors own web page.

We are exploring other options for sponsorship including match balls with sponsors logos on for all our teams home games and sponsors banners on the goal nets.

If you know of any companies who might be interested or you need any further information, please feel free to contact me.

Kind Regards    Cliff Penning   C.C. Penning   Club Secretary  Birchwood Colts JFC

Be aware of the big difference between inspired action and activity. Activity comes from the brain-mind and is rooted in disbelief and lack of faith – you are taking action to "make" your desire happen. Inspired action is allowing the law to work through you and to move you. Activity feels hard. Inspired action feels wonderful. May the joy be with you, Rhonda Byrne

The power is from within, we have choices to make for us to grow by our actions Personal  Growth is by setting goals  and the power to change someone’s life .   Todays challenges are tomorrow’s strengths  Gray

How To Live Your Inner Light

“I believe people are not looking for the meaning of life, but rather are looking for meaning in their life.”  – Pilar Stella

Keidi KeatingIf I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

Live in the Light. This means surrendering completely to the Universe, God, the Divine, or whatever you call that unseen, yet powerful force: the Creator.

Now, it’s easier said than done to live in the Light every day, however there are some ways I’ve found that make it far easier:

TRUST. Trust yourself and the Creator. He only wants what is best for you and so long as you remember that, trusting should be easy. Jog your memory that He lives through you as you, so obviously the only very best life experiences will come your way.

KNOW. Tap into that inner source of knowing which we all possess. It’s difficult to describe where this knowing comes from, as it just is. Often it is wrapped up in the emotions, feelings, worries, anxieties and materialistic elements of this world, which form a kind of shell. Peel away the shell and that true knowing will be felt.

LOVE. Love every day. Love the new people you meet. Love the motorist who pulls in front of you on the highway. Love those who challenge you. Love your friends, your relatives, your partner and your animals. Send Love to people you don’t know in the street, to the checkout person in the supermarket, and even to trees, objects, and food. When you feel Love everyday and share it, the Light will reward you.

MEDITATE. Take time out each day to reflect, unwind, close your eyes, breathe slowly and deeply, and find the peace within. When you meditate, you will attract people and experiences into your life which resonate with you and your vision. The Universe also has a say in this, of course. So what you think your vision is, may not prove to be what it actually is!

EXPAND. Think expansive thoughts rather than restrictive ones. Always see yourself progressing and growing in life. Imagine yourself already bigger and more successful than you already are. And remember, success looks different for everyone and it doesn’t always mean more money or more clients. It could simply mean peace of mind, freedom, and joy.

RELAX. Rather than fret about your future, exhale and enjoy the Now. Now is the only time we ever really have so fully immerse yourself in any task you do throughout each day, even if it is simply people-watching or feeling the sun on your skin as you sit outside.

LET GO. Refrain from planning or seeking any particular outcome to whatever is in your awareness. Let that feeling go and then the tension is not present, hence allowing more positive surprises to flow into your life and your world.

Following this advice will allow the Universe to work its magic in your life and lead you onto the path to achieve your wildest, deepest, truest dreams, which reflect the real you; your Soul.

What I find amazing is that when you go out of your way to give to another person, you will also receive great things in your life. This is what is called the Law of Giving and Receiving. You may not receive from the people you are helping, but  you will receive good things from other people and in other ways." Sonia Ricotti
