If I could share 500 words of wisdom to summarize what I’ve learned so far in life, these are the important things I’d want to pass along to others…                 Inner Peace = World Peace.

Think about it. If we all just focused on achieving inner peace, wouldn’t world peace be a byproduct? Inner peace can be found by following your passion. Your passion is built-in and it is your job to excavate it. You have a purpose that no one else can fulfill. Your purpose can be found by following your passion. It is a burning desire to do that which brings you bliss.

Follow your passion with unshakable relentless persistence. Don’t let temporary setbacks make you feel like a failure. Each setback is a lesson and a stepping stone on the pathway to your dreams. Each stepping stone will bring you closer to your purpose.

Maintain your focus on what you want and take the next step. Don’t ignore your passion; it will keep nagging at you and you won’t be fulfilled until you fully cultivate it. Don’t worry about what other people are doing because you are meant to do that which brings you bliss.

Don’t waste your energy on other people’s success and failure. Your success doesn’t depend on their failure. While you can’t ignore your passion, at the same time, you can’t ignore your pain.

It turns out that the worst thing that ever happened to you will prove to be the best thing. You will find joy out of sorrow if you face your pain head on. There is a lesson to be learned in your trials and it is your job to find the gift.

Your passion will have the power to transform your worthless spirit into a joyful soul. It will bring you a family of surrogate brothers, sisters, mothers, aunts and daughters who will lovingly adopt you. Your passion will reveal your shrouded light. It will excavate the joyful song inside of your heart.

Your persistent burning desire cannot be ignored. It will validate your gift and affirm that you are talented. Your passion will give you adoration, smiles, applause and purpose. It will give you confidence and will always be there for you. When you are down, it will bring you joy. And when you are happy, it will help you express your bliss. It will lift you up and give you the power to heal.

Through your passion, you will find inner peace out of adversity. Do your part and the world will be a better place. You have the power to change the world.

ANTICIPATION

ANTICIPATION

From The Secret Daily Teachings

When you look at yourself and feel dissatisfaction about any part of you, you will continue to attract feelings of dissatisfaction, because the law mirrors back to you exactly what you are holding inside. Anticipation vs. anxiety

If we define anxiety as experiencing failure in advance, we can also understand its antonym, anticipation.

When you work with anticipation, you will highlight the highs. You’ll double down on the things that will delight and push yourself even harder to be bold and to create your version of art. If this is going to work, might as well build something that’s going to be truly worth building.

If you work with anxiety, on the other hand, you’ll be covering the possible lost bets, you’ll be insuring against disaster and most of all, building deniability into everything you do. When you work under the cloud of anxiety, the best strategy is to play it safe, because if (when!) it fails, you’ll be blameless.

Not only is it more fun to work with anticipation, it’s often a self-fulfilling point of view.

“Although an individual may be born with a predisposition toward gloominess or anxiety, the emotional floor plan can be altered, the brain’s furniture moved to a more felicitous arrangement; with a little training, you can coax a fretful mind toward a happier outlook.” — Penelope Green

"The average human being thinks that happiness lies in stability, in tying up all the loose ends and having things under control. But actually, happiness lies in being able to relax with our true condition, which is basically fleeting, dynamic, and fluid, not in any way solid, not in any way permanent. It’s transient by nature."— Pema Chödrön

Know yourself! Watch how you manifest the small things in life and think about how you felt inside with those things. Think about how easily they came. You will find that you thought of a small thing once and never thought about it again, and then it manifested.

What really happened was you didn’t think any thoughts or speak any words which contradicted what you wanted, so the law of attraction was able to do its work.

May the joy be with you, – Rhonda Byrne The Secret

What You See is What Will Be

what-you-seeThere was a time back, long ago, when knowing each other’s deficits was important. In fact it was critical to our survival.

But today we live in a time when our environment can literally make up for any of our shortcomings. We have evolved past the need to link deficiencies with survival.

Unfortunately, our instincts have not.

Despite overwhelming evidence—the blind man with incredible hearing, the deaf woman highly attuned to body language, the dyslexic student with powerful memorization—society is too accustomed to seeing the world in terms of deficits and exceptions. And so are we. In trying to improve, we naturally default to identifying and focusing on our weaknesses, our supposed deficiencies, in hopes that we can become better by figuring them out. Millions of books, courses, self-help seminars, gadgets and apps have been created to “level-up” our weaknesses. Even case studies have been written to evangelize the benefits of these tactics. But beware, because there’s an inherent danger in focusing on your deficiencies. And don’t take my word for it.

The Danger of Focusing on Deficiencies

Oprah Winfrey, a towering entrepreneur for the ages, once said: “What you focus on expands, and when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it.”

So what are we doing by focusing on our deficits? We’re creating more of them. We’re enhancing them. We’re actively expanding the power of our deficits to limit our capabilities.

It has been said that each of us can do at least one thing better than ten thousand other people. That should be encouraging news, right? But here’s the problem: most of us have no idea what that one thing is. And, a big part of the reason we don’t know is because the systems are set up to help us overcome weakness, not become great with our strengths.

Embrace the World Through Your Strengths

Think about it. As a child, when you came home from school with your report card, what was the response if you had five A’s and one D? You were told to go work harder and do better in the subject where you struggled. Somehow that gets into our DNA and many of us go through life fixing the D instead of celebrating the A’s. But successful people have figured out that no amount of work will make them great at everything, and so they focus on the one thing they can do that will produce greatness.

To embrace and realize your full potential, you need to choose to see the world and yourself differently. Rather than limits, see opportunities in the exceptions. Rather than seeing deficiencies that must be fixed, see the attributes that must be enhanced. This is what makes people exceptional. This is what unlocks the limitless possibilities set out before you.

How to become Successful

The yellow brick road IS paved with gold, all you have to do is open the right door in your mind and take the first step. Gray Lawrence

How to Become Successful – the First Step

This passage is from a renown, successful researcher and promoter of personal development and success systems the commonest question by far that I hear is “How can I be successful?” How to be successful is the driving force for most people with whom I come into contact. Not surprising really, as this is my niche and my area of special expertise.

Usually I answer with another question. “What does ‘success’ really mean to you?” This is not a cop-out. I believe this question must be answered before I can even begin to outline what I believe this person must do in order to be successful. I do not believe anybody can really be successful unless they know exactly how they personally define success.

I have met people I would describe as very successful, but who have very little money. Many successful people are not well-known. Some have no close family and few if any friends.

So, if success is not defined by wealth, fame, family situation, or friendship, then what on earth does define success?

The answer, again, is that success can only ever be defined by the person who wishes to achieve it.

Success is not to be measued by the position but by the obstacles they have over comeThe first step to becoming successful is therefore to set aside some quiet, uninterruptible time, and begin to define for yourself exactly what you mean by success. You should make sure you have at least an hour for this, and preferably more so that the exercise can be open-ended and continue for as long as you find necessary. I can promise you that if you truly want to be successful this will be the most valuable hour or two you have ever spent.

This should initially be a brainstorming session. The concept here is that you should write down everything that comes into your mind when you hear the word “success”. Do not limit yourself to things you think it should be. You are trying to arrive at your own definition of personal success, not what you have read as someone else’s definition. Anything goes here. Do not be judgemental – if the thought occurs then write it down. Be prepared to fill quite a few pages here and to spend a good twenty or thirty minutes, not just a couple of minutes filling a single sheet of A4!

When you have spent a minimum of twenty minutes doing this (and keep going well beyond if ideas are still popping into your head) you can begin sifting through those ideas and crossing out ones that are not relevant. Also look for ones that are just repeats or variants of others; keep the most relevant and cross out the others.

You should now put your scribbled lists aside. In fact, turn the paper over so you cannot see anything you have written. On a clean sheet of paper write in large, bold capitals:

WHO AM I?

Don’t try to answer this. Just read it, then sit in absolute silence for at least another five minutes. Ten, if you can manage it. This should be a form of meditation. If you are used to meditating on a phrase, then meditate on that question. If not, don’t worry – just sit there in silence.

When the five or ten minutes is up, turn over your list of words and phrases that came into your head when you thought about “success”. Start a fresh list and write down some words and phrases that now seem to resonate with you as being a start of your definition of success. These words and phrases may come from your brainstormed list, but you may find there are some completely different ones that now come into your head.

Success comes the fastest to those who see the goal the clearestWhat you are trying to do here is to make sure your own personal definition of “success” is truly aligned with your own inner “you”. Only when your definition of success is properly aligned in this way can you really start to become truly successful.

At this point, start trying to formulate a sentence or two from this new list. This sentence will be the starting point of your own personal definition of success. It will probably be quite different from anything anyone else will ever write. That is quite natural, as this is extremely personal, and not some definition foisted upon you by the media. Treasure it! This definition, I can assure you, is one of the most precious things you have, as it will be the starting point of your true success.

Your definition of success will evolve over time, and in a few years from now may be quite different from what you have just written. But it will be a true definition, and one you can now be happy to go out and seek.

Good luck!

Afraid of Failure..

“If I had to live my life again, I’d make the same mistakes, only sooner.”—Tallulah Bankhead
Afraid of Failure? Read the following steps
Steps to Break Down Failure

Have you ever felt like a failure? I totally have. But I am not alone.

The-majority-of-men-meet-with-failur[2]

There is an epidemic of feelings of failure in any country and failure is so definitive. When you think you failed, there is not much wiggle room to be anything other than “a failure.” A horrible way to see yourself! This becomes a belief ingrained and tainting everything else we do and try. Here are four ways to break it down.

A. Lower Your Expectations

Failure is in relation to something. Usually some standard or expectation that was not met: I am not thin enough, pretty enough, smart enough. Having unreasonable expectations is more detrimental on our health than anything else. It brings in judgment, which compounds every other problem we already have.

When we have a feeling which is appropriate to the situation, and then we judge ourselves, then we worry! the problem becomes so much bigger and harder to recover from. Then, we berate ourselves for not recovering quickly with another layer of judgment. The original feeling is nothing compared to the complex mess and layers of our own judgement and fear.

Do not add them. Allow yourself to feel and do not worry, you can handle it. Be gentle and compassionate with yourself, lower those outrageous expectations! Instead of dwelling, do something. Seek a “Mentor”

B. Know there is a point to trying

You-are-the-creator-of-your-own-destPast feelings of failure attempt to take away our point to trying to feel better or accomplish something. We get convinced that we will fail anyway. We assume trying hard will make us more disappointed when we do actually fail, and so we put less effort in in hopes to protect our heart. With less effort, we may actually not achieve our goal and we can say “See? I always fail. Good thing I did not try.”

The point is “Rarely is anything accomplished without trying” And if we try and don’t succeed, our heart actually feels better, not worse. We build confidence knowing that we did our best. We feel empowered because we can respond to things in life. This is giving in to your fears

C. Notice your accomplishment

Simple. See the good in you instead of the bad. Focus on something else beside that one standard you missed. Have confidence in the efforts you did put forth. Notice other things you received from the process, a good example are friends you’ve made along the journey and “ what you have learned” and how it made you grow. Remember all other accomplishments in your life. be positive

D. Remember it is not over

Remember-perspective--inspire-quote_

We sometimes assume we failed too soon. Then we feel devastated and stop trying. If you are still alive, you could not have failed, since it is not over. Yes, your standards and expectation might change, but if you are still kicking, you cannot by definition be a failure. Readjust your expectations and try again ALWAYS – Never Give up!!!
